Buggeye
I think I squeezed this one in just in time before the deadline for the Reaper Wannabe contest. Just hope the round base doesn't disqualify me :p The somewhat weak tail tab for mounting it was something I knew I had to deal with before it became a problem. Luckily the the bottom tail feather is thick enough to drill and insert a couple brass rods.
dargrin
Great job with the eagle. Feathers came out really great!
GreyHorde
Nah, no problem with the deadline or the base. While technically not the 'factory spec' Warlord base, it's the appropriate size and that's what really matters. If it was bigger and more detailed, it would have been in the Open category. In any case, yes, you did yourself proud. It's a very natural, clean job, just beautiful.
Versutus Vulpes
Nicely painted - I like that you kept some definition in the wing feathers with the white stripe. Top shelf!
morganm
The way you did the feathers gives them lots of depth.
rgtriplec
Excellent job. I like how the base is detailed but still simple and doesn't distract the viewer from the bird. I love that model, I have it but haven't decided on how to paint it. I bought a little Ral Partha red fox model that will be a great target for those claws, but I may do a water base. Jabberwocky
Excellent rendition of this sculpt! Very natural looking and the feathers are well done. Best of luck in the contest!
John Lee
That's a really nice and realistic paint job. Probably the best I've seen on this mini. On a side note, is it just me, or do the wings seem a bit small in relation to the body on this sculpt? John lee
