Moderator Froggy the Great Posted June 23, 2008 Moderator Share Posted June 23, 2008 This is the Nymph from the Klockenbootie Faeries & Nymph pack. I gave her a dress and wings. 12hrs work. Grimm is unconverted. I had leftover purple. 3hrs work.
Jabberwocky
It is really just insane how quickly you can crank out such nice stuff.
outek
Nice job on the nymph. If I could put out quality stuff as quickly as you do, I'd wouldn't have any left to paint when I get to retirement.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted June 24, 2008 Author Moderator Share Posted June 24, 2008 ...I'd wouldn't have any left to paint when I get to retirement. That's sorta the idea. Well, my heart will stop when my last mini is painted, but I'd really like to clear out the minis that have been sitting primed since 2000. Mourningcloud
Well, my heart will stop when my last mini is painted, but I'd really like to clear out the minis that have been sitting primed since 2000. You realize this is the doom all of us as mini painters face. There was an old dragonmirth cartoon from a Dragon Mag back in the late 80's where an exhausted guy stumbles out of a game store and gasps, "I Finished! I finally painted all my lead miniatures! I stopped collecting years ago, and it has taken me this long, but I finally painted every lasT miniature in my collection!" And then he falls over dead. The guy he was talking says to the girl next to him, "I always suspected that would happen..."
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted June 26, 2008 Author Moderator Share Posted June 26, 2008 I saw it in Dork Tower: "GET ME TEN POUNDS OF PRUSSIANS! STAT!"
