dargrin
Just had to order this model. I really like it. I'm sure I'm getting in over my head with the details and fabrics, but I'll try my hardest :) You will do fine. Unless you are a Robert Cruse a good model takes time, lots of patience and use thin coats. Post your results I love to see it.

dargrin
Added Lemon yellow highlights. Eh. Not what I expected. I will look at it again in the AM with less tired head. Night all.
kristof65
Not what you expected, but I really like that yellow. I'd say go with a blue or green top to accent it with, and maybe some freehand on the dress. Looking good, no matter what you decide, I'm anxiously waiting to see this one finished. dargrin
Thanks for the kind words guys. I will try and get to it again tonight.
Jubilee
The yellow is very striking. You seem to have lost some of your shadows, though, maybe glazing those back in with some more sandy brown would help? /ali
dargrin
Also the skin is too needs work for blending too. (near her colar bones, cheek bones, sholders....)
dargrin
Ok I fixed the dress shading and skin for now. If someone sees a spot I missed I will not be offended.
dargrin
Whoopsie on my part. I forgot the blending steps on the corsette type thing. (don't know the name) Based with Forest Green -> Grass green -> Jade Green.
dargrin
OK this it for me tonight. I have an idea about what free hand I want to try and put on the big green wrap. I need to try it out first on paper. Anyway here I am about 6 hours in.
l33t ninj4
She's looking really good. I think I'm getting ideas for mine. (I ordered one off the online store) But I'm not sure what skin tone to go with, maybe the fair or tanned triads... again I'm not sure.
