mercoutlaw
I don't actually play 40k anymore, but I converted these a year ago or so and painted them up so that I could unload them. Tell me what you think. --Merc

tombwalker
Sweet work dude. How did you do the canopies on the walkers, or am i being blind and not realise they are clear 'glass'!?!
Nanite
The canopies do look nice, Tamiya clear red? Work on cleaning those mold lines though.

armydillo978
Nice work. Have any MI troopers? The canopies do look nice, Tamiya clear red? Work on cleaning those mold lines though. Mold lines? Holy smoke, your eyes must be better than mine. To have the eyes of a 20 year old again. *Sigh*

They are actually clear plastic that I use red sharpie on the inside of to give it the inner glow look. The pilots inside are also painted. Thanks for the comments. Yeah, the mold in general on these particular two models were a little warped and my first SST pieces, but I think for less than 2 hours combined they turned out pretty decent. Thanks for the comment.

I would love to get some of the light armour troopers and exo-suits but that is nigh impossible. And yeah, the mold lines bother me a bit, but they are cleaned flush they just came apart a bit and I didn't get them green stuffed up, but they were my first SST models and are up for grabs since I got an amazing deal on 3 Chickenhawks and 3 Apes for $20! So yeah, I have more to practice with for my personal army. Thanks for your comment.
Nanite
Just from personal experience, the joins on the Ape's legs can get really rough, I sanded the heck out of mine and they're still visible. Mold lines are usually a problem on SST minis.
