l33t ninj4
Wish I could have gone to Gen Con Indy. but I live in Southern Ca and can't afford a plane ticket. (among other things that would be needed) But it looks like everybody had fun.
Spike
Those tables look great, especially the new-improved dungeoncrawl maze. I know there's lots of Hirstarts there, but who made the buildings in the first? Also, was the Night of the Solstice a scenario or just the theme for the table? Sergei (with some assistance from Castlebuilder I believe) made the Soulstice buildings and it was a scenario. It was hugely popular and booked solid the whole con. The buildings were all completely detailed inside as well with furniture, rooms, even basements in some of the buildings. The clock tower even had working clocks. Truly impressive board. A huge amount of work on Sergei's part and kudo's to him!
Renowyth
Those tables look great, especially the new-improved dungeoncrawl maze. I didn't play in any of the scenarios, but I got to look at the setups when there wasn't a game going on. They were AMAZING. Every building had a roof you could remove with details inside. Secret tunnels, modular build so you could move some sections to different places to change up the board a bit, as mentioned, a working clock tower. One of the towers was also a dice roller. I was very impressed.
Castlebuilder
Those tables look great, especially the new-improved dungeoncrawl maze. I know there's lots of Hirstarts there, but who made the buildings in the first? Also, was the Night of the Solstice a scenario or just the theme for the table? Spike, Night of the Solstice is a scenario that Sergei came up with. Basically the town is going crazy, with cultists conjuring demons, the necromancer in the cemetery raising undead, the loonies in the assylum busting out, an assassin in town to kill the mayor, and the locals revolting. Throw in six parties that are taking advantage of the chaos, throw in different objectives for each player, and you have the makings for a very fun game! As for the buildings, Sergei and I each built a little over half a dozen. Outek, the quiet guy at the shop, joined in and built another half dozen. We started with a basic layout on and stuff just grew from there. The vast majority of the building material was Hirst Arts stuff. If you like this years pics, just wait until next year! Run N' Gun
I played in the Reich of the Dead event and the game as well as the landscape & minis were incredible! I didn't get a chance to play in any CAV or Warlord events but, the terrains looked fantastic. After seeing them I've been inspired to try my hand at trying to create some cool battlescapes for my games. Hopefully sometime in the future mine can look as great as those used in the events. My hats off to everyone involved with the con events. It was a great time for all!

Run N' Gun
Which RotD games did you play in? I ran a couple of them... I played in the Friday night game (6:00pm - 10:00pm). I was on the American side. Unfortunately, I was the first person out. After my Sherman Flail tank got destroyed in 1 lucky shot, the rest of my troops were caught in a German crossfire and obliterated. Even though I was wiped out, it was a fun time with a bunch of great guys. After getting out of the game I sat and talked to the real nice gent who was running the game. I didn't catch his name but, I had a good time shooting the breeze with him. I do remember he had to run several back to back games that day. Dragon Snack
That was probably Ed Pugh, the owner of Reaper...
