Mclimbin
Heya! I was one of the lucky ones who was able to take Jeremie Bonamont Teboul's painting class here in the SF Bay Area (I'll post pics of the workshop soon). After taking his class, I was really inspired and managed to paint a mini in a couple of weeks (speedpainting for me!) I'm playing a Tiefling Warlock (name: Dread Phraxo) in my new 4e game, so I swapped out the wand for a pact blade, which is a filed-down tip of an elven spear from the Elven weapons pack. Here I was working on painting as crisply and cleanly as possible, painting true metallics, and thinking hard about color composition. What do you think? I can see some mistakes that I didn't notice before taking the photo...of course...Anyway, comment me, bebe! buglips*the*goblin
All painted up, that mini looks better than I thought. I'm partial to Tiviel, myself. But maybe this dude is worth getting, too. Excellent paint job. Nice to see Tieflings still kicking around even if their original Planescape setting isn't.
MamaGeek
You make me long for a good painting class in my area. Great job!
Mclimbin
Thanks for the responses, bugs and mama. Bugs: Really, you like Tiriel better? I like her, but I really like Damien so much more. Thanks for the thumbs up, though. Mama: Thanks too. If you are interested in hosting Jeremie next year, contact me or aaron (olliekickflip) and we can put you in touch with him. You won't regret it, it was an awesome experience!
haldir
love this sculpt since the whites were put up of him. Great work. His fleshtone has that Hellboy feel to it. ha ha. I love that you can use any of the 4.0 wizard object implements with him (staff. orb, wand). Awesome thinking there, Reaper!! "Nice to see Tieflings still kicking around even if their original Planescape setting isn't." Funny, even in 3.5 adventures I think I see Tieflings more than most races anymore, more then gnomes, ha ha!!!

Maybe he'll stop by and tell us. Thanks Haldir. I was going for the Hellboy/4e PHB Tiefling look. Oh, and the wand is really easy to convert to a blade, for a warlock and pact blade combo. If I can do it, anyone can!
Mr.Wizard
For me, the eyes make this mini. Very expressive!
