Buggeye
Its been a while since I've posted something. And this guy's been sitting on my desk for quite some time glaring at me in different stages of "done"ness. Well after messing up his cloak with a spatter effect (made it look like a drop cloth) I think this version is one I'll keep. Not quite as good as the camo patterns modern day hunters are using today but I think its a step in the right direction.

Wilwarin
I really like the blending you did on the cape with the colors, very very nice!
MamaGeek
It may not look like modern camo, but it looks like excellent faux fur. Your painting is very smooth and clean. Good job!
mercoutlaw
Very nice blending, great work all around!
bikerdrew
Nice job - I especially like the camo on the cloak, it came out well.
dks
I experimented with camouflage effects on some cloaked rangers and elves, many years ago, but they didn't turn out nearly as well as this guy. (I think my problem was using splotches that were too big, or using too few colors to make up the arrangement.) Well done! With the cloak, leathers, and metals painted with such realistic colors, the brilliant yellow hair seems out of place to my eye -- an anime or comic-book rendition of "blond" -- so I think I would have used less saturated yellows/browns. Otherwise, he should keep his hood up if he doesn't want his hair to reveal his position in the forest. Derek
morganm
Great work overall; what I really love is the texture of that cloak.
