Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted January 7, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 7, 2015 Please include an option in the "tablet" version that allows you to switch to the standard version. Maybe yours will be awesome, but when given the option, I can't think of a single site where I keep it on "tablet." And that is totally an oil can. I always use the full desktop version of a site on my phone.
tiniest rhombus
Wishlist you say? Soonish you say? Nice. It took me a minute staring at it. Looks like glue to me. Why? Because this is a miniature company and oil can didnt seem to fit the theme. :-)
Flamehawke
Wish list would be awesome. My family though has no problem with themes and if they raise a brow I point out that I am a full adult entitle to purchase and paint whatever I wish. I would likely break my wishlist into specific lists of things I want
pcktlnt
But it means it isn't entirely on the back burner anymore. O_O imagine one day being able to do wish lists that others can see. Secret Sophie would be so easy. ;) Imagine one day being able to store more than one wishlist, so you have on for that kind of exchange and another for relatives who might not appreciate certain themes... I heard my wallet whimper. I don't purchase many Reaper minis from the main site because I have to keep emptying out the cart for my wishlist and I get lazy. Whenever it becomes operational...crud.

Adept Legacy
Ruh-roh. Web syncronizable wishlist? I need one many of those. Specifically, into easily budget-able $40-50/month intervals.

Jasper_the_2nd
Will there be a subscribe feature, where we can have all the new releases automatically go into our wish lists? Just in case, you know, someone, umm, needed to catch them all er, needed something like that....

Awesome Wife is savvy enough that not only is she able to buy me minis, she was able to suss out how to contact Hasslefree and get some of the figures that I had showed her cool painted examples from. (she shows me cute baby animal pics and I show her cool mini pics)

We never automatically put anything into your cart for you, and feel that such a thing would border on dishonesty.

Just in case, you know, someone, umm, needed to catch them all er, needed something like that.... We never automatically put anything into your cart for you, and feel that such a thing would border on dishonesty. Cart no. But I (for example) never remember to check on the New Releases announcements, especially during the summer when I spend every weekend at the track (this may be less of an issue if these forums stay unblocked here at work). If we can have multiple wishlists, I'd love to have one that was titled New Releases, that would have one of each new release populated (only if I requested this of course). Then, when I actually remembered, I could look at the three or 4 months of new releases and remove the ones I didn't want (let's pretend that could happen) and either move the others to my cart and buy them, or move them to my public list of "cool stuff I want" or whatever. BTW, having a public want list will make my wife very happy. She never knows what to buy me for miniatures stuff.
Reaperbryan
I'm not designing the system to add anything to the wish lists automatically, no.
Members SamuraiJack
I'd like to be able to tell when I look at the retail locator what the retail partner actually has.. so I can find one with some fricken paint.. which i guess might not be possible if they dont order directly..
Adept Legacy
To weigh in on the glue icon earlier... would it be grounds for a lawsuit if the cap was bright orange? Then everyone would say, hey, that's school glue. >_> Not that a specific brand of glue that may share some similarities ever worked for me when I tried to base with it.

Stores themselves manage their own entries on the site - we do not. We do not currently plan to ask them to manage their store information at that level.
