Reaper Online Store Revision

As it's been a while since I mentioned it, until Reaper can implement a wishlist, Amazon has a wishlist widget that can be used on any webpage. They'll try to match the item with something in their store (that tends to be way more expensive when it comes to minis, btw), but if you click on it, it will take you* directly to the page you marked in Reaper's (or anyone else's) store.

*Or your grandmother. :poke:

My spreadsheet already has a semi-dangerous 'take me to your buy button' link

=IF(NOT(ISBLANK($B69)),IF($F69="Special Edition Figures",HYPERLINK("http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Special%20Edition%20Figures/sku-down//"&$B69,"Link"),HYPERLINK("http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/"&$B69&"/latest/"&$B69,"Link")),"")

In the format of: Name (A) , Number (B), Link (C), Cost (D), Artist (E), Product Line (F)

You appear to be super dangerous with excel.

The link to the Inspiration Gallery is no longer at the top of the page. Is this intentional or a by-product of the forum update? Not that I don't know how to get there from the Reaper main page but it was nice having it here handy. Also, for folks who are directed to the forums from the facebook page, it would be nice if they could get to the gallery from the forums. Just my 2 cents!

Even when the inspiration gallery was present, it hadn't worked for me for months. I kept trying to upload photos and nothing happened. They never even got to the waiting for review stages.

Weird. I know it wasn't updated during the kickstarter but I have been able to upload things and they show up. Hope it gets worked out for you because you have some pretty minis!

Thanks! Glad you like them ^_^ I'd love to contribute them to the gallery. I haven't tried in a while; it got to the point of just wasting time. It worked during my first stint on the forums 2010-2011. Not now

You have to be logged in to the store to upload to the Inspiration Gallery. The store login is separate from the forum login.

Reminds me, Reaper must be busy. I’ve had nine entries pending since last Saturday. Usually it’s taken them no more than a day to approve new entries.

Ooh, they’re up now!

Almost positive that I've been logged in for all of the attempts.

Just tried to put the Rainbow Fairy up again, same problem. 100% sure I was logged in. I hit submit, the browsing window thinks about it (stop instead of refresh button present). Then it stops, and there is nothing new in the management screen. Nothing changed. When it stops, the photos are no longer present in the submission form, but the text is.

Added Inspiration Gallery Link.

We receive an average of 3 new IG pictures per day (about 20 a week). I have confirmed that the IG upload is working because I am still getting them in my (and @OneBoot's )queue for approval.

I am not sure why it should fail for you, @Cyradis, but it does nto appear to be a setting on our end, as many other users are getting images in. What browser are you using, and what format/size are the images?

4.46MB JPG file. 4288 x 2848 pixels - for one of the photos at least. Using Chrome for a browser. Others more or less on the file size, but same range. Might have height/width swapped on pixels.

 Images must be in the JPEG format (.jpg) and preferably under 300KB in size;

It may be that 4MB is too large - until I delve directly into the code, I won't know for sure. Could you try again with a smaller image? We seldom use anything larger than 1000px on a single side. That could be the goblin in the works.

I'll see if I can resize them. Currently pestering Sir Cyr for how to do that. I can't find the right buttons to mash. Will let you know when we get that part figured out.

what software do you use to edit/manipulate the images?

For me, I would use a google search "resize image in {software name}" and see if that is fruitful
