starwarsgeek
For some reason my browser(s) all hang when I try to access the front page and/or the store page..... but the forums are loading and working just fine. AND to make things even odder, when I used a 3rd browser that I hardly ever use (only in emergencies to check if sites are working lol) the front page loaded for me, until I signed into my store account and now it's frozen up too. Is it just me ? **EDIT nevermind, working again. Weird. Edited November 29, 2018 by starwarsgeek
Bruunwald
I'm going to necro this thread because it's a fine idea. In fact, I found it while searching for this very suggestion/function. Being how easy it is for a popular Bones model to sell out (probably to the very same people who already have multiple copies of it from their Kickstarter pledges), and how long it takes to get same back in stock, some kind of alert feature would be very, very welcome. I drive myself nuts checking on a thing over and over. Specifically, in this case, this thing, which would have been a great success at an upcoming convention.
MiniDungeonMaster
I agree, this would be useful. Another way to do this would be to add qty in stock to the wishlist page on the beta site so people could add minis they want that are out of stock to a specific wishlist, and then look at that wishlist periodically to see what's come back into stock. At the moment stock level doesnt show on wishlist pages.
Mad Klingon
Another possible advantage to being able to add OoS items to a wish list is it would allow Reaper to see when a magic number of folks want an OoS item and maybe schedule it for another production run. If 3 folks have Sid the Sloth in wish lists and 50 have Manny the Mammoth in wish lists, becomes fairly easy to pick one for making a new batch. Ice Age was on a few days ago.
Cygnwulf
so, I know how much moderators like people piling in on some thredomancy here, but yeah, a wishlist feature alone would be awesome, if it supported some kind of back in stock alerts too that would be amazing. Wishlists are a thing on the beta site, so hopefully should be rolled out at some point!
Gadgetman!
The main site is supposed to switch to the same setup as the Beta site later on after they've ironed out all the kinks. (I think they've said something along the tune that there won't be any major changes on the main site until the switchover)
K79
For any Reaper Admin out there.... I think it would be an awesome idea if you had a "WISH LIST" section on your website. I'm adding tons of minis for my future adventures, but it's a pain having to clear my cart to order only the ones I want for my next quest. If you had a "WISH LIST" that we could add our mini's too and pull them form that to our cart, that would be awesome !!
Gadgetman!
Wish lists are being tested on the Beta site(The UK/EU site). Ladystorm herself has come down from the heavens and proclaimed that there will be no changes to the old site until the Beta is finished.
