I ask for clothes. It's easier than explaining, since nobody else in my family (except the wife and kids) gets it. Even my dad, who bought me my first D&D module and dice when I was 8 doesn't get it, not really. So I get clothes, and it means the rest of the year, I don't have to buy clothes!

Luckily, I live in Texas, so they don;t buy winter clothes, because we don't need them!

I gave up asking for toys...figures. Everyone knows that my stash of unpainted figures is vast and they won't buy me more. However getting tools is far easier. I'm pretty certain I'm getting the air compressor I've wanted for years. ::D:

My mom did miniature train sets in her youth, so she 'gets' the miniature thing much more than she does the RPG thing.

I'm starting to have success with iTunes cards as gift cards. No one else in the family likes the music I do, or has any clue what I own so I get wins on that. However other than that they still have the gift card aversion. :(

I've had the "get me clothes" thing for more than 20 years now, because once my toys became RPGs and minis it was always too hard to explain. The occasional book or DVD has slipped in there over the years as well.

Next year I'll try using the Amazon store to share a Wishlist, but the chances of success remain low due to fear of credit card fraud.

So yes a Reaper Wish List would be awesome.

Yeah, clothes doesn't work, either. My mother has this idea that I'm a much larger person. So I end up with all these weird XL shirts.

Luckily, my fiancee gets it and I always get something cool from her. But she also stays off the hobby stuff unless I wishlist it. My favorite so far was a tiffany-style stained glass lamp. I bought her a poison vial necklace (she's into murder mysteries). We're strange folk up here.

Now there is a man who is secure in his relationship!

Your desire for a wish list is noted and has been on my list for a while. As soon as I get a couple of spare brain cells to rub together...

Awesome! I have mad respect for the amount of work you folks do around here as well as the way Reaper does business in general. Plus I'm sure (understandably) there's still a great deal of focus on delivering the KS Bones in March. Heck, even if you guys 'n gals say no, at least you bother to listen to the customers. That is a depressingly rare trait in businesses these days. I'm sure that's why your customer base is so rabidly loyal.

This comes up every so often. There are several threads about this but to sum up:

1. It is something that that is on the list of things to do.

2. The Reaper Store is a custom store so something would have to be coded especially for it.

3. There are few Reaper Code Monkeys (the the best of my knowledge just Kit) and they are currnetly kept busy with higher priroity things.

As a short term solution, you can install the add to wishlist feature from Amazon and just forward what you wanted to keep track of to you Amazon wish list. This has the added bonus of allowing other to see your list for things like birthday/chirstmas/your're wicked cool day gifts.

What, nobody else celebrates you'r wicked cool day?

thanks for your swift reply i didnt realize the store was custom (thats cool to know) and the Amazon addon is cool too ill download that for sure (just have to find it)

If you log onto your Amazon account and open your wishlist there should be a prominent ad to d/l the program. You will have to install it for each computer that you intend to use it on.

I was browsing the minis on the online store when *gasp* I saw one that I wanted, unfortunately due to issues I cannot buy all the minis that I would like to its so sad. So I looked for a way to save the mini to a wish list or something that would keep them safe so that when I was ready to order I could just hop on it pick a few and go. There was however no such feature at this time, dose anyone else wish that there was such a feature for the reaper online store?
