Stern Kestrelmann
Well, I managed to withstand the extremely cold weather here in the mid-west and get a couple of DHL models painted this week. Yet another Klocke model packed with detail! I just couldn't bring myself to paint her as a drow though. So I went with a more traditional skin tone and some dark red hair. In looking back, I wish I had placed her bow a bit differently as it was tough to paint/ photograph in its current location. Enjoy. JimL
Great job! The face is excellent. Would you mind sharing the colors you used to create the red hair?
Jabberwocky
I second Jim's call for a recipe. I think that is some of your best hair to date.
bikerdrew
Fantastic paint job - the hair is to dye for.
Stern Kestrelmann
Hey. Thanks for the comments. JL and Jabb- Very simple recipe. 1. Mix GW Dark Flesh and GW Scorched Earth Brown 3:1 2. Add white to the mix accordingly and layer up with highlights. So, EZ even a caveman could do it. SK
