Dragon Snack
Is this a Reich of the Dead promotion? http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/Road_signs_warn_of_zombies
kristof65
That's too funny. Slightly alarming depending on what the signs were originally warning about, so I can see why the authorities have no sense of humor about it, but to me it's still funny. Sounds like the signs were effective at slowing traffic down in a construction area, too - maybe it was actually safer?
joshuaslater
I'm picturing Ed Pugh gleefully cackling whilst using a hacksaw......
Kheprera
I wished I had been able to see this. It was probably some college prank since the location is very close to the UT campus area. There's always construction on that road. SD and I thought it was hilarious, as did the people I work with. Even funnier were the links on one of the sidebars with information about zombies, what to do in case of a zombie invasion, and whatnot. I didn't see them the first time I looked at the link. Qwyksilver
I'd love to see someone hack it again with a message... Thanks fer ur brainzz....
Yoshi
Zombies don't hack, but I saw one with a sign that says "Will Work For Brains"
Rhydur Meith
http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/Road_signs_warn_of_zombies Is there something we should know about this? Maybe it explains any delays with Reich of the Dead....
robertsjf
Austin has UT, the biggest university campus in the US. That's where all the zombies come from. Denton isn't exactly zombie safe as we have both UNT and TWU....
Kheprera
Oh, and Austin is approximately 200 miles (give or take a few) from Reaper HQ.
Castlebuilder
I'm picturing Ed Pugh gleefully cackling whilst using a hacksaw...... My visual was a little different. When I saw the article I pictured Reaper Bryan leaning into the control box of the sign saying, "OK Kit, what do I do next." Meanwhile, Kit keeps looking around and says, "I don't think Ed is gonna like this Bryan...."
joshuaslater
Ed thought those bricks were enough to stop the zombie infestation at Reaper. He was mistaken.
Castlebuilder
Ed thought those bricks were enough to stop the zombie infestation at Reaper. He was mistaken. Naaah, at ReaperCon 08 Bryan discussed the company Zombie Assault Policy. It goes much deeper than just using bricks.....
joshuaslater
Most workplaces are woefully unprepared in the event of a zombie attack.
Erion
Most workplaces are woefully unprepared in the event of a zombie attack. I'd agree with that. Heck, most workplaces around here won't even let you keep a gun in your car in the parking lot, let alone in the office.
sethohman
We have enough gas maks in the basement for about 1/2 the building in case it is a zombie-making gas attack, though. 1st half downstairs wins.....
