How about a "set" of figures to represent a size changing superhero? One normal (25mm) size, one tiny (5-10mm) and one big (50-80mm). Superfigs does something similar, but their figures just aren't quite the same quality as Reaper.

I would very much like to have figures that represent the typical "space adventurer" PCs of games like Traveller, Star Frontiers, Star Wars, etc. There are plenty of armored space marines, and exotic gothic space-fantasy figures, but if you just want to depict the crew of a tramp freighter, there's not a whole lot to choose from out there.

The science fiction I grew up with had a particular look: a usually tight spandex-looking jumpsuit or pants, but not the perfectly smooth ones of the earlier pulp SF era; they were textured with seams, pockets, zip fronts, or ribbed detailing. Tall boots, often a jacket or vest, and/or a belt with pouches or electronic gizmos. Long gloves or forearm guards were popular, often with a wrist computer or communicator built in.

And ideally, not just one or two such miniatures, but at least 4-6, enough for a full crew/adventuring party.

Some examples of the kind of look I'm talking about:

I'd like to see as many Traveller based minis as possible without breaking copyright.

Same here, generic sci-fi,

Seems I'm not alone. ::): Also, I second the many calls for aliens.

I've REALLY enjoyed the 3 sets of Ridolfi 'Gray Aliens' and the one set by Michael Brower....(as well as the other 'Alien Overlord' series by Gene Van Horne, among others)....but I'm HOPING that 2012 will see the release of some MORE of the Ridolfi-style...maybe with MORE accessories/small walker/hover-platform/saucer????? Maybe even an 'exam' set with male/female human subjects!?

(and I'd STILL like to see a 'Space-mousling bot'.....as long as I'm putting my 'wish list' out there!!! mwah-hah-hah!)

Hey, it NEVER hurts to 'ask???'

Slishfully,

Sgt DWW-btod aka pondman1955/aka David (and yes, I've cobbled together my OWN 'mousebot'...well two versions...and am working on modifying a set of the space mouslings as SPACE PIRATE 'mouslings'.....one has cyber-eye, new raygun and sword....the female has a new gun and 'hook' hand...the one with rifle is wearing a ski cap....(ala 'Jayne' in FIREFLY....'a man wears a hat like that, isn't afraid of nothing!!!!'

Until Reaper gets going with this, Ground Zero Games makes some ship crew minis.

Yeah, they're better than nothing, but they aren't very good. Nowhere near as detailed as Reaper's. Plus, they're 25mm, not 28mm, so they can't be used with anyone else's stuff.

I totally agree. I like the Chronoscope SF figures that have been done so far, but I would love to see some "classic" SF figures like that. ST:TOS era stuff (although not necessarily not-ST stiff). I'd be all over anything like that.

So, I didn't see a general topic for suggestion minis (outside of the fantasy one), and I figure I would make a one about some that me and some friends were talking about.

Looking around online, we found a disturbing lack of Firefighter miniatures, and emergency services (Police, Paramedics, Firefighters) minis in general (and S.W.A.T. minis). I would think that would be more common for modern-rpgs and such. Another thing I was also puzzled to find a lack of, were luchador minis. Granted, you have the El Diablo mini, and it's a nice figure, but Luchadors are so varied in terms of design that I think there should be more.

Also, I love the mouseling minis, and I think there should be more and general. Like EMS mouslings, and luchador mouslings.

And I thought I had more to say, but I apparently, don't. I don't expect my suggestions to be taken seriously, but I felt like I should, at least, put the ideas out there. Sorry if there was a thread for this already, but I didn't see one.

This will be a weird request, but

- on one hand, I want more minis who aren't holding guns! So many Chronoscope figures I'd buy if they didn't have guns, because the characters I want them to represent don't use them (the new one with the lady in the Chinese dress is an example--she would be SO mine if she didn't have that gun, but because she does, that's a sale lost), and guns are a pain to cut off/convert. I'd rather see empty hands I can glue a gun into than a figure I have to saw the gun/hand off of. And yet...

- I also would like to see a gun pack of historic guns, not only for historic games but steampunk stuff and the like. In particular, I've seen a lot of folks looking for gun wielding but definitely fantasy-type figures ever since Pathfinder put out Ultimate Combat, and it seems like it would make the most sense to have a historic gun pack for conversions.

I agree with that. I'm trying to get unarmed civilians together and they are very hard to find. And I agree, the Chinese dress fatale would be great without a gun. I bought her anyway, but I would really like her unarmed as well. I really like the new Sheriff and the doctor and nurse in the previews. Helps me round out my small town setting. Maybe an optional hand with a gun. You might even sell more this way for people who want both options. I do that a lot myself with multiple option figures.
