Paintergeist
A white collar type with tactical gear can be interesting. Like a guy in a suit with a SAS-type knife being stealthy. Like he's going in for the covert kill. Or the aforementioned turtleneck guy kneeling with a silenced sniper rifle and night-vision goggles.

saionji11
It's an odd request, especially in a genre that thrives on super sexy and/or badass female characters (and to be clear, I'm usually fine with that fact), but there have been several times recently that I've wanted a modern looking female mini, sans weapons and found...well not much. I've seen hookers, zombies, and chicks with giant guns, but the closest I've seen to what I've been looking for is Agatha Fox, and even she is carrying a gun. I realize it may be against the grain, but I would really like to see some modern female mini's in normal clothing, something you might expect to see someone wearing on the street. Or heck, one of my character ideas involved a bedraggled looking mini in a t-shirt and boxers, but I digress. There are numerous random modern male civilians, I'd just like to see a wider variety for female civilians as well. Thank You P.S. I did remember the "chick" in the Jock, Chick, Nerd set as well as the woman in the Townsfolk: Geeks set, in fact I picked up the latter set for that figure. It just doesn't fit for every thing I'm looking for. Edited October 10, 2013 by saionji11
Alex3
I really feel like they could make more character minis, non-violent ones. They don't have to be specific careers or tropes, they could just be people. It may not seem interesting but i'm sure they could do something.. :)
Alex3
I'd like to see a lot more 1920s-30s figures suitable for Pulp/Call of Cthulhu gaming. I've been looking for a decent, affordable 28mm "Dapper Gent in White Tie and Tails" for ages. This would be great, and could double for steampunk/victorian/deadlands depending on the details. Some not-downton-abbey characters would be funny.

saionji11
Thanks for the suggestions, many of these I hadn't seen before. The Preiser figures in particular were very interesting, though I agree with Doug that they are a bit out of place with other gaming minis. I also definitely appreciate Inarah's point regarding why female civilians may be less marketable than other products. I had similar thoughts myself. I actually have some experience with marketing, so I get how important it is to target a product to a customer base. I also believe that a female civilian figure could make for an extremely desirable and marketable product. Particularly due to the versatility I feel they can bring to a game in ways other than school girl and prostitute (or large nun with ruler). I also realized that I was requesting a solution without actually bringing much in the way of creative suggestions to the table, so here's a brief list of potential concepts. Who knows, maybe one of them will inspire the creation of a figure : Business woman, medium length hair, business suit, running, looking back Disheveled woman, shortish unkempt hair, hand to head, large t-shirt and boxers (yes the figure for the one character in one game…so I'm self serving) College co-ed stylish clothing, numerous potential poses/appearances (dancing, running, stretching, texting, telling off her ex…etc…) Punk girl, piercings, standoffish pose, arms crossed and/or giving the finger. Woman in tank top, shorts in martial arts pose (tell me no one else has wanted this figure) Spy, no gun (repetitive I know, I could always just mod Agatha, but it couldn't hurt to have another female spy. Maybe this one could be in the process of removing her concealing trench coat. This is just a short list of what I could come up with off the top of my head. I'm not the best artist but I'd be happy to work up some sketches of these concepts and others if there's interest, and quite possibly will do so anyway.

MojoBob
It's probably (almost certainly) only a niche of a niche market, but I'd like to see a small range of "cartoon" Nazis for Indiana-Jonesish pulp gaming. Caricatures of the high command (including Eva Braun and the dog, whose name I've forgotten), as well as a few generic flunkies.
Email2085
We could use a big creepy guy with a big wrench. Perfect for reenacting the climatic fight on the zeppelin in The Rocketter or the "Take on Me" music video.
