Moderator Chaoswolf Posted March 8, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 8, 2015 Aliens/bugs/some kind of bad guy for the IMEF to fight. We do have the zerg-mindflayer hybrid looking Bathalians from KSII. True, but a little more variety would be good. Get a Star Wars liscense!!! I want Reaper Star Wars! Keep dreaming, dreamer Not worth the time or effort to a small company like Reaper to pursue a contract like that. If Disney approached them, on the other hand, it would be a different story. True on both accounts.
Pingo
Aliens/bugs/some kind of bad guy for the IMEF to fight. We do have the zerg-mindflayer hybrid looking Bathalians from KSII. True, but a little more variety would be good. How about dual-purpose aliens? The original metal version of that nun in the Bones II Kickstarter had two alternate hands, one with a ruler and one with a gun. How about, say, a big lionlike humanoid with patchy armor, big wristbands (to hide the join), and a choice of hands, one set holding a dagger and sword and one holding a raygun or two? Raygun-alternate hands would make a lot of fantasy figures suddenly appropriate for a sci-fi setting.
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted March 8, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 8, 2015 That would be pretty cool; great idea!
Erifnogard
Danger Mouse and Penfold. Really the whole cast. Appropriate serial numbers removed of course.
Glitterwolf
Mighty Mouse ( or am I so old nobody knows who that was??) Also I would like to see some Jules Verne/ da Vinci contraptions. Since large pieces can be created in Bones I'd love a Nautilus steampunk sub, or a Ornithopter. Edited March 20, 2015 by Xherman1964
rgtriplec
My kid really like the steampunk fairy tale minis, and I do too. Some others I think would be cool are a Boy and Girl in Wooden shoes. A Hans Brinker type with wood block skates Similar type as above but someone in old time snow shoes A skiier A German beer maid, vintage St. Pauli girl I seem to have a Dutch theme going for some reason. rgtriplec
This would be a big undertaking, but would really make the Chronoscope line the best all around Western line available. Cowboys, lawmen and outlaws on horses some working cowboys, maybe even a chuck wagon Native Americans for a few different types/nations: Woodland/Iroquois, Plains/Sioux, Cheyenne dog men, Seminole, Maybe three packs of braves like the zulus, a chief, a mounted brave, a princess, a medicine man, townsfolk- woman, mother with kids or baby and old man. So, that's like twelve minis per tribe. A few pueblo style Kachina dancers Great White Buffalo
Glitterwolf
I would like to see that expand to Carribean / Oriental / Conquistadores etc etc... Fantasy through the ages and all over the world if you catch my drift. Edited March 22, 2015 by Xherman1964
rgtriplec
Yeah, I said pueblo Kachina to distinguish a generic type vs Hopi, Zuni, Taos, Navaho etc.... Reaper could even design their own if they wanted, or attach them to a defunct group like the Anasazi or Hopewell. Mexicans and Asians would be cool too, as well as a Mighty Mousling.
Dr. Propaganda
Something I think would make a great addition to the line is prisoners, i.e. people in shackles, chains or handcuffs. I would like to see some generic prisoners, that could be used as slaves or captives, wearing simple pants or clothes, that could be used in any number of genres or settings. Maybe the stereotypical old man with wild hair and beard, shackled and foot, waiting to be discovered in any number of prison or dungeons settings and deliver valuable exposition. Also, prisoners in modern prison uniforms would be nice. I would suggest making their hands a separate piece, so that you could build them with shackles on, or, put a weapon in their hands instead if you want to build prison rioters. Finally, a prisoner in full-on Lector gear, hands and feet shackles, headgear and collar would be an interesting piece to add to the mix. These kinds of minis would be great for modern action adventure, science fiction, or superhero games.

Glitterwolf
How about some evil / horror mouselings? Jason Mousers, Freddy Kreugermouse, Count Mousula, Weremouse, Dr. Mousenstein's Monster. Pff sorry, keep getting ideas... I would really like a NOT Marquis de Sade kinda charachter. A 18th century european noble man, wearing a powdered wig, ruffles ands such and then maybe carrying a cane or a whip to show off his evil intentions.
djizomdjinn
Masquerade ball minis. Because nothing quite breeds treachery and assassinations like a party where no one has a face. Also, I kind of want to see festive minis. Something like a group of villagers carrying a mikoshi would be cool, and depending on the sculpt, would really lend itself to conversions (zombies carrying their necromancer lord on a palanquin?)
Jasper_the_2nd
A jazz band. Definitely this Musicians in general would be really handy for dioramas and settings. Besides a couple of punk rockers there isn't much there.
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted April 21, 2015 Moderator Share Posted April 21, 2015 How about a few leather and chains, S&M nutcases a la Mad Max to go along with Rex, Dark Future Hero (50065)?
