Amalor Myrnnyx
The story is now over :( http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/02/28/paul...obit/index.html
Sanael
It's been a long time since I last listened to him, but this still comes as a bit of a blow. Radio broadcasting, already relegated to near-nonexistence, has lost a great voice. Thanks for sharing this, Amalor.
Voladilk
Wow. That is a hard blow. I remember as a child on our way to church (back when I still went to church), we listened to the radio in the car. Shortly before getting to church (same time every week) we would hear Paul's commentary. I always enjoyed listening to "the rest of the story" I will miss hearing him. Dragon Snack
I've been a DJ at a local radio station for the past 8 years (90.5fm WBER), I wish I had a tenth of his talent. With all the guest hosts that he's had lately (actually, since the passing of his wife), you kind of knew something was up... Radio broadcasting, already relegated to near-nonexistence... Rumors of radios demise have been greatly exaggerated...
King Tiger
I remember when I was a kid back in the early 80's Harvey would be syndicated on our local news channel, when I was sick I would be sure to watch the 12pm news to listen to his little stories, weird behavior for an 11 yr old I know! Anywho I guess that was part of his appeal an ability to get a kid with little interest in such things he spoke of to.. well, take an interest. Goodbye Paul
cerebro1974
Weekly still I would listen to him, the little tidbits were almost always fascinating! He will be missed!

Goodbye Paul Maybe it's just us weird miniature people, but I used to enjoy listening to him as a kid and teenager. I liked how he'd tell a person's story then when he revealed who it was it was always a bit of a surprise. I would invariably have a "oh wow" type reaction. Probably the only time I was quiet in the car and not pestering my sisters.
