Moderator Froggy the Great Posted March 11, 2009 Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2009 This is a HeroClix conversion of (I think) Black Canary with the vines and branches made from wire. Anyhoo, it may not have been such a good idea to talk to the witch so disrespectfully. Just sayin'. These were made by melting plastic drinking straws over a lighter.
DFo
The melted straw "alien corals" really look the business. What a great idea. I could see the same process used for rusted/bombed-out metal. Lovely stuff!
King Tiger
Good stuff again Froggy, my only suggestion is on the corals, I think they would look even better if you brightened them up and added a few more colors, (blues, greens, etc) for some ideas Google some reef aquariums and wear some sun glasses. dargrin
Does the top one have a gun? It looks like it has a leaf gun. I like the coral BTW. May have to steal.
Ironhammer
Love it, especially the coral! However, somehow the coral looks a bit more like giant tube worms to me. That's got to be one whopping hydrothermiv vent zone!
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted March 11, 2009 Author Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2009 Especially considering it's on dry land, yeah.
