Presentation jitters

It's been about 8 years since I've given a presentation, and I've suddenly been put into the position to do one tonight. I thought I was OK, but suddenly I find myself in the grips of a full on panic attack.

 

I think I'll be fine if I can remain relaxed. My first thought...a glass of wine first, yes! But I can't really smell like that and be OK.

 

Anyone have tips to avoid stage fright?

I don't know how to avoid the stage fright, but once your up there it may help to not look directly into everyones eyes. I, for instance, when I am in front of a large group I look at their foreheads. Don't forget your breath too, If you are anything like me in front of alot of folks your breath will be off a bit and you will sort of run out of air before you finish a sentence. After your up there for a few, you will more than likely get comfortable though and not need to think about these things :).
