Moderator Froggy the Great Posted March 31, 2009 Moderator Share Posted March 31, 2009 This is made primarily from an empty airline-serving sized bottle of Smirnoff that I found by the side of the road and liked the shape. It is just under 6" long, and looks pretty cramped for the scale I intend to use it in. However, the scenario "Dude, Where's My Rocketship" calls for a very cramped rocket, so we're all good. These are the heroes for one of the scenarios in the campaign "The Seven Azure Princesses of Sedona V" that's being written over on the Rattrap Productions boards. These are repainted Heroclix "U-Men", given rayguns, daggers, and in one case, an anchor. These are the antagonists for that sa,e campaign. The bodies are "Shi'a Borderers" from Heroclix, and I believe the heads are some sort of boarding turrets from a battleship of some sort by Games Workshop. The Hunching Henchmen are repaints of some nameless Heroclix figures. And their eyebrows. This is a repaint of a DreamBlade figure, as well as a Tau gun of some sort by Games Workshop. Not really much else to say about these. These were made using bases off HeroClix and Warhammer figures, plus some artificial snow. The base is about 1.5" in diameter. I imagine these'd be used in some sort of futuristic hydroponics lab or atmospheric mining station. This was my second attempt at making Cybermen. This time I used Ultron figures from HeroClix, which worked out a little better than last time. I just wish that the faces didn't come out looking so much like C-3PO after a run-in with a wall or five. Because every evil overlord needs somewhere to strap the hero while he goes off giving vague orders to the henchmen about powering up the converters so he can SHOW THEM ALL . . . Fredbot is made from CAV parts and the top of a lip balm container I found on the curb. Yay Fredbot!

mercoutlaw
And I thought my brain never shut off! You must suffer several small strokes a day to be able to keep it all in...my Gods man, you're a machine! Great stuff as always!

You must suffer several small strokes a day to be able to keep it all in...my Gods man, you're a machine! Great stuff as always! Thank you! It's actually kind of annoying sometimes. I'm trying to actually do useful stuff and an idea comes by that if I don't act on will be gone forever and I CAN'T SHUT IT OFF. Even a flow-reducer valve on my brain would be helpful sometimes. I know the feeling, at work last week I had some downtime in the lab and noticed some of the 4 and 6 inch paper spools would look a great deal like silo's or utility towers with little ladders made from the giant Qtips used to clean the sensitive laser boxes, followed by a few other doo-dads and pieces of garbage and Viola! I had 5 pieces of terrain before the night was out. If you ever need some circuit boards or camera internals for conversions or whatnot, let me know I have access to a cornucopia of this available and would be happy to ship some to you! And I was going to beg for some of that stuff. I am starting up a Hero game, and I needed some parts for a mad scientist lab. (And I think I would get in trouble with DW if I start cannibalizing some of the working things around the house for parts. . . though you would be amazed at how much "extra" stuff there sometimes is inside things.)
