haldir
So after taking last year off from classes at RC, I decided to take at least one this year. I may take 1 more, but it'll be a at the con purchase if anything. I was going to take a basing class, but in the end I felt like I gained more reading Stern's base WiP here then I'd probably learn at a class (or at least retain the knowledge ). Anyways just curious but what class(es) did you end up getting? The one & only class I took was John's How not to suck class on Thursday figured what the hell, yah know!! pae
I'm going to try to sit in on Bob's conversions class if Anne will let me out of the contest room for that long.

haldir
I took that class with Bob, a few years ago. I had no idea what I was doing, mainly wanted to watch Bob work the putty so to speak & it helped get over my some what fear of working with green/grey stuff. Lazlo a good teacher. I took his blending class last time he was at RCon. Fun stuff.
Super Administrators kit Posted April 8, 2009 Super Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2009 Remember, I only put three seats online and most of the classes hold 5. Anne's talking about bumping some of them up over that, and I also like to hold something in reserve to sell at the door. So, all is not lost if you didn't get the classes you wanted. kit
Rastl
I got 2 of the 3 classes I wanted. Oddly enough all of the classes I want to take are from Aaron this year so he's going to be pretty darn sick of me by the end of the convention. I got painting red and weathered metallics. I really wanted the true metallics but that was already sold out so I'll just have to wait for the next round of tickets.
Flit
There were 3 that I really wanted and I got 2 of those, so I am ahead of last year when I didn't get any of the ones I reeeeeley wanted. The one I wanted most sold out though. Hope to get in that one at the door. What I did get: zeinthal lighting effects, diorammas, monochrome (which was the one I reeeeleey wanted last year that I couldn't get into), and dirty minis. I was trying not to schedule too much so I don't get brain overload and can get lots of hanging out time- and shopping time too!
Valloa
I got sculpting classes. Yay!!!! I was really happy to get all the classes I wanted in on this year.
yani
I got two of the classes I wanted - true metallics and feathering/glazing. Sorry Rastl, I think I got the last True Metallics ticket! well, the last one of the set anyway. I'm going to hang out for a super basic sculpting class, preferably the putty one. I wouldn't mind just watching Sue do a dragon. Is that happening again this year?

paintminion
I wouldn't mind just watching Sue do a dragon. Is that happening again this year? Only if they can find someone else to prep the dragon before the con. I'd do it, but I am currently swamped with other work...so...in general...nope. Doesn't look like it can happen, though I am open to the idea.

It's prepped and basecoated. :)
