alchemist
Those of you with very long memories might recall that I started a project to assemble a "library" of player-character minis that I could call upon when needed. Of course, before I got far with it real life intervened. Well, actually that's not quite true -- World of Warcraft intervened. Evil, evil World of Warcraft. But I have finally managed to kick that habit, at least temporarily, and get a few more minis sorted out. In this post we have a bunch of rogues, starting with DHL 2231 Sir Miguel: DHL 2021 Tara: DHL 2555 Dirk: Finally, this one is by Dark Sword:

Hello, my name is Jerry and I've been WoW-free for a year and a half. Lol, Good luck kicking the habit! Your last mini has a cute butt. ;)
tanker22
Excellent work on these four as a whole. They have a different look to them, a bit more toned down in color shades then normal but I like the style. Outstanding job on the last one, she has a very realistic look to her and the shading on her white blouse is perfect IMO
Nissiana
I love the colors on Sir Miguel--the teal on his shirt is rich, and has some nice depth. Nice job on highlighting the black cloak, as well! I also dig the leather bodice on the Dark Sword figure. I've got one of those ambitious projects sitting on my shelf-o-shame right now, so congrats on tackling a bit of yours! Jabberwocky
Outstanding job on the last one, she has a very realistic look to her and the shading on her white blouse is perfect IMO Agreed! What recipe did you use for the blouse if you don't mind my asking?
Wilwarin
I think you did a fantastic job on all of these; I love the color scheme you use for them all. I must say that Tara is my favorite :)

It's been a while since I painted her, but if i recall correctly the blouse was something along the lines of: Aged Bone -> Polished Bone -> Linen White. Renowyth
Very well done. I appreciate your smooth and clean work. I think I just found the next stage of quality I need to aspire to.
Sanael
Very nice! Very crisp. I like the color combination on Tara, especially the jacket. Really nice yellow and red without looking like a McDonald's mascot. Also like the blues on Miguel, and the blacks/greys on his cloak. I would like to see a bit more on the bases; nothing elaborate, since I like the simplicity in all your figures here, but something more than just "gravel." It makes me think too much of a driveway or parking lot--not the most heroic (or rogueish) of locales! Thanks for sharing!
bikerdrew
These are all fantasticly well painted. Good stuff. The white on the blouse is really very good.
MamaGeek
Excellent blending on Sir Miguel's black cloak. Black can be very difficult. The color choices on that mini in general are very appealing. Nice work.
JimL
Great stuff. Those bases need some cork!
joshuaslater
Firstly, mad props for the painting. Second: great idea on the rogue's gallery of PC figures, also usable for NPCs, or other games you play. Third. I like the basing because it doesn't detract from the mini. Some people like the display base with all the bells and whistles, and that's fine, but if the point of these is to have on hand for gaming, where the model is a game piece on a tabletop, the textured grey is fantastic. Your coplayers must really appreciate the effort and the results of said efforts to have painted models for them.
alchemist
Thanks for the comments everyone. It was a deliberate choice to keep the bases very simple since they were done with gaming in mind and I find that elaborate bases can be distracting and often look out of place in a game environment. Plus I kind of like the sense of consistency it gives to the collection of figures. Plus I'm lazy
