Griffin - mythical half lion, half eagle

Like this one?

Ah, yes. Another fault of the Figure Finder - no alternate spellings. "Griffin" is the most common spelling, at least according to Wikipedia.

Ah, the great and vaunted Wikipedia. Very Well, alternate spellings for the Griffon have been added. (My preferred spelling is "gryphon", while I consider "Griffin" to be a surname, not a creature. But I digress...)

Once again, Ms. Geek, I am happy to make adjustments to the tags as necessary, please let me know what needs to be adjusted to make it more user friendly.

Another winged beast and rider (less armor maybe a little more wild looking) , perhaps a griffin or hippogriff with the feathers sculpted smooth, as the feathers with all the veins and sculpted detail are very hard to put a patterned wing on.

I'm gonna second that mounted wizard idea there. We don't see too many mounted wizards...

I was wondering if we could get some angels that don't look like the traditional chick with bird wings.

I'm talkin', of course, 'bout Cherubim:

Four faces (man, ox, lion, and eagle)

Four conjoined wings covered in eyes

Oxe-hoofs

Swords of fire

...and...

Orphanim

Burning wheels with eyes along the rim
