Jordan Peacock
I love those croc-riders! :D
Shakandara
Thanks. I contemplated a number of options for the mounts, including nightmares and basilisks. As soon as Reaper came out with the two versions of the gator, it made the choice easy. Then it was just a matter of choosing a good mini to place on top. Since these are intended to be Lancers, and the Daughters already have spears, they were the easiest to adapt. Plus, I'm already using modified Anubis Guards as archers, so although I like those, I ruled them out. And Devourers on Gators would have just been... weird. ~v
Notsonoble
I'm looking to play this 499 point group as an expansion of a 295 point army game. The 295 point army didn't have troop 3, and was casterless. Troop 1 Nakhti Awakened Mummy x 4 Sokar's Prophets Sokar's Disciple Troop 2 Chosen of Sokar Tomb Guard x 3 Troop 3 Ah'radivh Khamsin Lancer x 3 Edited July 11, 2013 by Notsonoble
Wizard Lee
So, my first army made of (primarily) Bones is Nefsokar. I'm trying to build armies at around 1,000 pts. Here's what I've got for the Nefsokar Troop 1 Neb'nesew Ne'pet Staff of Sokar Fatima Awakened Mummy x7 Troop 2 Khadath Avatar of Sekhmet Tomb Guard x3 Troop 3 Thoth Troop 4 Sokar's Avatar Troop 5 Giant Scorpion Troop 1 is focused on primarily guarding my warlord and letting him dish out spells to weaken enemy troops. Fatima can heal either Neb'nesew or the Awakened mummies if necessary to keep the mummy shield up. Troop 2 is solid melee. Thoth is in his own troop, and since he has access to the Earth tome and many AoE spells, he can either weaken troops for other units or "clean up" weakened troops. Sokar's Avatar and Giant Scorpion are just two giant mobile hammers, meant to add reinforcements where necessary. Does this look to be a sound strategy? Humansquish
Thoth is an elite, so he has to be in a troop with a leader with open elite spots. I would stick him with Kadath to be an extra troop with magic for the opponent to worry about. The Avatar of Sekhmet is a solo so she would have to be by herself, but you don't have enough troops for another solo. The awakened mummies are only one track, so Fatima isn't going to be able to do much to keep them up. Keeping kinda the same mummy theme with your strategy I came up with the following. Troop 1 Neb'nesew Ne'pet Staff of Sokar Fatima Tomb Guard x5 Troop 2 Khadath Thoth Awakened Mummy x6 Troop 3 Giant Scorpion Troop 4 Sokar's Avatar

NightyKnight
Just as a question, would Shared Fate cast on two characters, by one caster, cause a feedback loop? Recently played a game were Thoth cast Shared fate on the Elven Giant Eagle, and the Silver dragon.
