Shakandara
Kristianna's bag is healing (and the fact that she can do it without LOS). The best ways to take advantage of that are to give her lots to defender her, and plenty of good targets to heal back up with her impressive rack... of spells. Given that, and what you already have, here's one possibility: Crusaders - 998 pointsTroop 1Mother Superior KristiannaHalbarad, Priest of AurelliusTemplar Unforgiven x 6Battle Nun x 6Troop 2Acacia, Ivy Crown RangerIvy Crown Skirmisher x 3War Dog x 3Troop 3Acacia, Ivy Crown RangerIvy Crown Skirmisher x 3War Dog x 3Troop 4Hound of JudgmentTroop 5Uriel, Guardian AngelLuck StonePaladins of Light doctrine. If you go back a page or two, someone asked about using Uriel without getting him hosed. This list would probably work pretty well the same way; healing to keep Uriel up, lots of bodies to keep him from being swarmed (the list is 30 models). While it lacks crazy speed, the two troops of Acacias with skirmishers and war dogs give some decent mobility, with just a hint of ranged threat. ~v
Sanael
Thanks for the idea! I like this idea of some mobility/Uriel...and buying a pack of war dogs will be useful well beyond any Warlord I play. Does it matter which Acacia model I field? (I know the proxy rules are pretty lax, but better to be sure)... Is there a way to make this list a little more shooty, but still effective? ObsidianCrane
No it doesn't matter. However I recommend using the same model for both Acacias and if you are going to proxy I have been previously advised not to use existing Warlord models. If you are getting the Vampire box from the KS you might want to check out the KS army lists and put one together to fight against your Crusaders. Then all you need is someone who will be your opponent, they don't need to supply minis just their time and a willingness to give it a go. Shakandara
I'd neither worry about using the same models for Acacia (in fact, I'd counsel against this - it will make it easier to tell the two troops apart) nor even other Warlord models. As long as it is abundantly clear that the model is different from other stuff you are fielding, and that the model you use at least generally represents the capabilites of the datacard (in this case, a model with a ranged attack), there should be no issue. I proxy bowsisters for my ICAs in Crusaders because I just don't like the ICA sculpts. The bowsisters are painted to match my Crusader scheme, and they are clearly ranged models; there is no issue with this. I also have 3 Jhorxias in my Darkspawn army; all three are different, and none of them is the official sculpt. They are, however, all succubi, and are all different from the rank and file succubi/incubi models used in the Darkspawn army. ~v
