fieldarchy
I've had this mini sitting around for about 2 years and decided to paint him yesterday. This is just one days worth of work but he turned out well. It is such a silly mini! Vote Here!
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted July 15, 2009 Moderator Share Posted July 15, 2009 I love the face and skintones, Meg. A couple of tipped over bottles on the ground would look cool, but he's great as is.
Beowulfthehunter
great as usual. I see with your current jobs you are painting every job like it is for a competition using the hardwood cube instead of the traditional base.
fieldarchy
mmm I wouldn't necessarily say the wooden block is typical of competition pieces. It's more that my pieces are for display and I want them to be handled with care. It's easier to hold the mini and not worry about scratching the paint if you've got something to hold on to. And wooden cube is easy enough to do. Also, I like minimal bases for the most part.
Whizard Hlavaz
Very nice. The face is quite well done. And his leather hat looks well-worn and oiled. Nice work.

Ler
I really like your green skintones. I have a couple of the freebooter goblins myself, but not this one unfortunately!
JimL
The browns and skintones are really great.
