Thegn Beretun
Well, I finally finished this one- I think. He's an elf named Baeldrinahar. Hope you like him. This was my Summer Contest entry. The "Cure for the Summertime Blues"? RAIDING! Especially warm places like France.
Wilwarin
Fantastic job on both :) I'd recommend a smoother blending on both figures (it takes time and practice, trust me, I'm still learning too! LOL) I really like your color choice for both :)
Anne
Both of these look really good, good painting, and your color choices work well together and retain vibrancy. I would recommend maybe trying black lining in some connection areas, to help the figure look tighter and a little more defined. I am just experimenting with black lining myself, and I've found for some flesh areas (flesh/ flesh as opposed to flesh / skin) I'll sometimes try using very dark brown instead of black for my natural gradation. Very nice work! Good luck!
awong
Nice work on both minis, although I think the elf is more successful because of the blending in the cloak (you did a bang-up job on the cloak!) and his eyes. The viking mini could use a little of that attention on the more stark highlights. Good luck in the Contest! -AW
