Sergeant_Crunch
There's no real etiquette in these threads, some post WIP pics, I never remember to take any. I don't post finished pics because when I'm done I post them in Show Off, but that's just me. Feel free to post finished pics here though if you like. Post minis that weren't even on your to-do list, heck post pictures of your dog, wouldn't bother me one bit.
Bruunwald
I thought the spirit of the roll call threads was to give a place for those of us who get a bunch of minis done in a short time to show our tabletop-quality prowess? I mean, that's why Ironworker named them "roll call," right? As in, lots of guys falling-in? Otherwise, it's just another show off thread or WIP thread and it might as well be in one of those sections, rather than under Speed/Army/Tabletop. Personally, I don't really care too much about being totally strict and structured, or whatever. But they do go to the trouble to set aside various sections for us, so I figured I'd play devil's advocate on the matter.
Rastl
I started up the roll call threads again as a way to inspire us to meet reasonable goals. It's only in this category because there wasn't another one that made sense to me and this is where the original ones resided. So you'll see people listing what they hope to get accomplished and how well they met their goals. By all means if you want to use the other categories for what you're doing then do so. But these monthly threads have been inspirational and helpful to those who choose to participate. A number of the people are trying to paint up armies or other groups of figures but others just have a roster of what they want to get done. If you want to start your own thread elsewhere I don't think anyone would object.
Bruunwald
Yeah, I figured I'd be in trouble for that. LOL
Wilwarin
Carry-over from July: Saori Avril, Winged Elf Maiden from Magnificent Egos August Fresh-ness (?) Talanka, Ogre Shaman (Contest entry for my local Gaming Store) Reaper Townfolk NPC Ranger Cohort Just finished the final townfolk mini tonight (the farmer) so now I need to finish that contest mini!! I haven't had the inspiration to work on Avril, sadly. She might have to wait until a later time :) I did get a new addition though, a ranger cohort for my friend in the campaign we're playing. Fortunately I got him primed on a low-humid day as it's been rough since.
billr
Ork Trukk -- almost done, some touch up and need to paint the gunner 12 Trukk boyz (slugga boyz) -- almost done 12 Trukk boyz (slugga boyz) -- almost done Looted Wagon -- Converted & primed Partially painted 10 12 lootas -- partially all assembled 10 8 tankbusters -- to do all assembled Warphead -- Still trying to decide to go with the conversion, or the avatars of war one. Also wondering if Reaper has a decent Orc Shaman. Thanks all! Too late (at night) for a WIP of the looted wagon. Will try to get some shots of the sluggas in show off. I'm in "get it done" mode now. e.g. I noticed I missed half of somebody's hand in the group of 24 orks and just decided to leave it.
Sergeant_Crunch
Got the khaki basecoat on a couple CAV minis the other night (a Kikyu and a Regent). No expectations of finishing them before the month is out though.
Rastl
Reptus that were primed are done (and in Show Off). Exchange mini is done, photographed, and about to be packaged up so it can go out tomorrow. Not exactly the amount I wanted to get done (I wanted more Reptus) but overall I met my goal. For the first time this year, I think.
mousekiller
I suppose it is the end of the month. The only thing I finished was the 10 Dwarf Warriors.

Wilwarin
Carry-over from July: Saori Avril, Winged Elf Maiden from Magnificent Egos August Fresh-ness (?) Talanka, Ogre Shaman (Contest entry for my local Gaming Store) Reaper Townfolk NPC Ranger Cohort Wow! I got all the things I wanted to get done in August, done! Sadly, I didn't get the stuff from July done, I really think I'm going to give up on that maiden >.<
Rastl
Thasia - don't give up! Don't let the mini win! Just keep pushing it forward until the thing finally gives in and lets itself be painted. Looks like we had a fairly good month in meeting goals. This is great! Now, of course, we have to figure out what we're carrying over and what we want to start new. A new month is almost upon us.

Whizard Hlavaz
My tally for the month as of last night: Tomb Wraith finished. Bonus zombie legs finished. Witchling Stalkers well under way. Bases complete. Basecoating and all shading phases complete. Rackham Goblin in partial production. Base sculpted and mini mounted. All primed and pre-lined. So... not likely to finish by tonight. But September will dawn with good progress behind me.
Wilwarin
Thanks, Rast and Bill! It's really hard to continue with this figure ; she has been nothing but trouble. I guess, at this point in time, I'm not going to "trash" painting her but maybe I'll put her off for a long while :) I think I might have just got burnt out on her.
