Ler
My TV is a big samsung that you can use as a monitor. I have it hooked up to my old PS2 (wait, I mean DVD player) and my other computer (that I never use =P). I don't watch TV at all really (there's a couple of history shows and stuff I miss, but even those I can find online), you can get so much stuff on the internet now, and if I need a distraction, I'll just put a DVD on. Mad Jack
We actually have tv's in almost every room in the house, lol. But I mostly turn them on out of habit, because I like having background noise. The only show I actually watch live is CSI. And I catch up on reruns of CSI, CSI:NY, and NCIS in the afternoons when I get home from work if I haven't seen those particular episodes before or if it's a particularly good episode. Occasionally there's an interesting UFC fight on Spike. However, if there's nothing on that I feel like watching when I turn on the idiot box, it gets turned right off again. I've got a huge movie collection, so if there's nothing on worth watching, or if I'm painting, I throw in something thematically appropriate to either my mood or the feel of the mini I'm painting. Dragon Snack
I have a 54" TV and two 25" TVs. I haven't turned on any of them in at least a month. I stopped watching a lot of TV when I opened my store (no time). The less TV I watched, the more annoyed I got when it was sub-par - and it seemed to be sub-par quite often... Reaperbryan
No Cable, no Digital COnverter Box. My TV shows DVDs and video games and I don't miss it. Eventually I'll Hulu or buy the DVDs for the most recent season of House so I can catch up, but I'm not feeling like I've lost anything - I've gained time. Sharky
I don't watch TV (except for Ghost Hunters), but I'm outnumbered by the three TV fiends that I share the house with.

Kengar
I haven't owned a TV in about 10 years. It really throws the cable nitwits' sales pitch off when I tell them that.

Bruunwald
We have a nice, still-newish, digital-ready HD TV, and when it switched in our area, we were ready to go and got digital for a couple weeks. And then Comcast suddenly decided to mess with their signal, and half the channels disappeared. They say we need to come by and pick up more equipment - they claim at no additional charge - but I know that I will see money added to our monthly bill in the form of "insurance" on the equipment because that's what cable companies do. I don't want their stupid stuff in my house and shouldn't have to have it, since obviously everything worked fine without it, until they did whatever they did. My wife thinks it's a scam since it seems most of the channels we lost were the ones we watched the most. I'm not too far off from agreeing with her. I have to make a decision soon, since I'm paying for this and not getting everything I am paying for, but I remain torn on whether to flip them the bird. Unfortunately, they are the only providers of cable internet in my area. Otherwise, it's DSL city.

joshuaslater
Funny, I was just thinking that as I was being a nuisance on some other threads, and seeing your mug in the ReaperBryan Fan Club tag at the bottom of some folks posts. Problem is though, I'm already so many others' Evil Twin I don't know if I can accomodate you. I think I'll audition anyway.
