dewen
I painted these a few years ago before Rackham went to ppp. Enjoy!

Beowulfthehunter
I love the skin on these guys. I am even more impressed by the bamboo held by the guy with the spear. Now, did you plan to not paint the laces in the leathers? I think hitting them with a tan would make the figure pop.
Bruunwald
Now, did you plan to not paint the laces in the leathers? I think hitting them with a tan would make the figure pop. Normally I would agree with touching up such a detail. But in this case, I think it should be left alone. Painting those laces would make the figures too busy, in my estimation. It would draw the eye away from more important details in their upper bodies. Also it's perfectly common for leather lacings to be cut and dyed from the same batches as the pants/boots/whatever they go with. It's not like stitching on a golem, where it makes more sense for them to be a different color (or laces on tennis shoes).
dewen
IIRC the skin is Reaper Master Series Bone Triad. I thought of working more on the laces in the leather. Not that I wanted to use a different color but more work to help them stand out. By the time I got to that, I was ready to seal them and get them on the game table. Not going for an award on these just looking for something cool on the table.
