sethohman
Slated for an August release. Saw him for preorder on another site that has him listed as $39.99. Is that true? Or are they just guessing? Seems really expensive, unless he is absolutely huge - the fire giant is only $25.
Gus Landt
It is bigger than the Fire Giant and twice as heavy, being just a solid lump of metal.
Qwyksilver
I can't imagine how much he would cost with the old formula then. Probably in the $60 range.
sethohman
It is bigger than the Fire Giant and twice as heavy, being just a solid lump of metal. What size base does he fit on? Would he topple a 50mm one over?
Stubbdog
That model is the official model for the Dwarven Stone Spirit. So, it will be a giant based model.
soundinnovation
Yeah, he's huge, and very heavy. And the dinosaur skeleton looks awesome. I saw Anne painting it on Saturday.
Craig J. Brain
This is a really exciting release. I haven't looked forward to the release of any miniature, as much as I am this one. What date can we expect to be able to place an order for it? I am putting pocket money aside for it right now - it's perfect for crushing robots! :) Craig J. Craig J. Brain
I has now been over a decade since I ordered this miniature and set it aside. Last night I finally rebased it and undercoated it to start painting it! The 50mm base didn't do it justice, so went with a 65mm base instead.
Craig J. Brain
Has anyone got some good tips for painting the various rocks? I don't want this to come out too bland. It is a really nice miniature! Perhaps somebody could point me towards a tutorial on painting rocks in miniatures?
Glitterwolf
Some examples of painted ones might help you for reference. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/85733-77185-large-earth-elemental-lava-style-speed-paint/ https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/56873-large-earth-elemental/ https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/61486-77185-large-earth-elemental/
