NOVA Corporate Security Guard

This one has been sitting on my to-do list since RCon 2006. Finally got around to painting it as a test for the rest of the squad that I recently received. I think I'm going to swap the MSP Gunmetal Blue for a midnight blue on the others though. Base coats were PP Uniform Brown, Yellow Olive, and Desert Tan, each moderately highlighted (I wanted a very subdued look), and washed with everyone's favorite...MSP Brown Liner.

Thanks for the kind words all. :)

I bought them to use with 5150, though I'd prefer to use them with a game that will probably not see the light of day for quite some time if at all (AICOM). Funny thing is though, I've had 5150 for a couple years now, and have yet to actually play. I think I'm going to have to come to the unwanted conclusion that I've become more of a collector than a player and won't be able to change that until after next year.

Very nicely painted. A great color scheme for a realistic military unit.

Is that highlight on the face shield painted or is the surface gloss coated? If painted, that's very subtle yet effective! A good example of a reflection being the brightest spot on a mini.

Can't wait to see the rest of the unit.

While I'm capable of painting a bright point highlight like that, it's a gloss coat over the matte sealer. I like to watch the light shift as I rotate the mini.
