Hyperion
Hey folks, I know I've been deep in hiding for quite a while now but I've been looking at getting back in the game again. In line with that, I took a peek back at what my last experiance with Reaper was like and I was wondering if people could bring me back up to speed again. Last time I'd played was before the RAGE chronicles had even been published and just before the plastics line was released. Anything amazingly startling that I've missed or that's on the horizon? As part of my examination going backward I wrote a review on my blog. http://www.MikeAtTheMovies.com. I'd love to see a couple of people poke their noses in and correct me if I'm wrong. As always, it's great to hop back into the community once again. It's like visiting family you've not seen in a long time.
cutebutpsycho
Well, you missed the release (and the selling out) of Warlord 2 (it's been reordered). Then there was the new Propaint line, reformulated to be fabulous! Then there's the Dark Maiden 11" resin that's part of the Master Series Miniatures line, which is also a line you might have missed. They're awesome-tastic miniatures which may or may not be excellent for gaming, but are DEFINITELY awesome for painting.
haldir
Chronoscope (unless the first releases were around the time of the first LE releases) RM
Dilvish the Deliverer
Just announced at GenCon, Reaper is now producing the Pathfinder miniatures for Piazo.
Hyperion
How is the heavy line of miniatures? I've always liked the heft of some serious metal. Chronoscope wasn't out (in fact I've heard nothing at all about it) when I was last playing. I'll have to go dig up some of the 411 on it. haldir
Also P-65 was introduced (or technically re-introduced). It's a line that is composed of mostly lead. While they are recasting a bunch of older minis in this material, it also being used for the heavy minis which in turns keeps the cost to us, the consumer down. Just take a peek at the lines & you'll see P-65.

Dragon Snack
Hey Sparky! Just a note about something you mention on your blog, and a Reaper-peep can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Reaper minis are "lead-free". I believe they can technically be sold that way under the laws as written, but you'll notice that the packages don't say that (at least none of mine do, and I have a wide range of older and newer stock). In fact, as you compare older and newer packages, you will notice the suggested minimum age has been increased from 8+ to 14+, probably to coincide with the new laws about lead testing of products for kids 13 and under (although even some of my older stock is 14+, so it may just have been a happy coincidence that the ages in the laws just passed matched up to the newer ones listed on the packaging). Oh, and some idiot opened up a game store down in Mt Morris, stop in the next time you visit Geneseo!
