What's the status of the Warlord 2 reprint?

I ask because, after having a vendor swear to me they had the book in stock, and placing the order, only to find out they didn't actually have it, they now tell me it is "on the way to the warehouse", which I find hard to believe since it is sold out.... so I was wondering if the 2nd ed 2nd print run was "here" yet and/or when we could expect copies to be available.

I don't mind waiting for the rulebook to get reprinted, I'm just tired of this vendor jerking me around on availability and ship times....

We will have our copies this week, and will get them sent into distribution asap. If it was a distributor that told you it was "on the way to the warehouse", that isn't a lie really, since as soon as it hits our docks, it'll be sent to them.

I hereby begin the take-back of the word "soon" and declare the book will be available again soon! ::D:

Sounds like a guy trying to keep you on the hook and hoping you don't lose patience with him before the book arrives.

Too bad people can't just say "the distributor is out, it will be back in a month, I'd love your business if you can wait" and leave it at that. People like buying from happy people....

It is a feature we used with these books to make them seem really worn really quick. That way they'll look well used, and thus like a great game!

OK, OK. Actually, this is our first time printing anything with this company, so we didn't know what to expect. The second print run will have a thicker cardstock cover that will hopefully stand up to more abuse.

I loved the form of the new book! Seriously. Thought it was perfect for a rule book. Not that I wouldn't like to have a "collector's edition" for the shelf <Grin>, but for relentless studying and figure research I want a flexible book that can take a beating. For example I have used a highlighter to highlight what figures I have/want etc..

Believe me, I've put mine through the ringer :) I thought the price was unbeatable as well....but again, I'd be willing to shell out alot more for a hardcover CE :)

Gus, that's a riot.

I kind of like how beat up mine is now. I don't worry about it falling off a table or writing notes in it. I'm thinking of doing the highlighter trick, too. So? It's only 20 bucks. I didn't shell out 60 for a some hardback family heirloom. I only want the info and it's loaded with that.
