cerebro1974
So I would have to say Clash of the titans, noone can even watch it with me without the usual comments on the bad stop annimation, over the top acting and such, but I love it! Ishil
All the Riddick movies: Pitch Black (all time top 10 movie) and the two sequels.Blind Fury Split Second Hard Target Hudson Hawk (it took me 3 goes through to twig to the humour, and now I find it utterly hilarious) Two sequels? Helltown
@Ishil: Pitch Black's sequels were Dark Fury (animated film) and Chronicles of Riddick. All of them kicked serious keester. As for movies no one else seems to like... I'd have to say that most of the ones 'no one liked' seems to be all the ones my friends and I like. The only thing we really disagree on right now is that I absolutely love the TV show House, but they don't (too formulaic).
King Tiger
So I would have to say Clash of the titans, noone can even watch it with me without the usual comments on the bad stop annimation, over the top acting and such, but I love it! I would have included "Clash" on my list too as well as Legend and Sword of the Valiant (Sean Connery as the Green Knight!) Just figured those types of movies are adored by many of us fantasy geeks that are members of the board and kinda don't count among us as much as others heh. Qwyksilver
My guilty pleasure movies are chick flicks. 'Classics' like Sleepless and Seattle, You've Got Mail, etc. I just like me some romantic comedy. The Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan ones in particular just because I like Tom Hanks as an actor and always thought Meg Ryan was kind of cute. A more recent one I really liked was Enchanted. Although I did agree to see Kate and Leopold with my wife when it was in the theatre, that one was just so god awful I still hold it over her head. Sharky
Mortal Kombat (the first one). The sequel? Ew.
King Tiger
Mortal Kombat (the first one). The sequel? Ew. I loved the music! The movie was ok, man if it had been rated R with real violence, coulda been awesome. As it was kinda suffered from the same problem as Conan the Destroyer too "kiddified" IMHO. kristof65
None of these are ones that are really hated by everyone, but they are guilty pleasures to me, in that I won't turn them off if they happen to show up on the TV while I'm watching late at night - Breakfast Club, Adventures in Babysitting, Weird Science and most of the other John Hughes films. As a child of the late 70s/early 80s, they pretty much define my experiences from then.

I love them all it seems, no matter how bad. sethohman
Mortal Kombat (the first one). The sequel? Ew. I loved MK1, only because we saw it late, opening weekend. They had the sound so load in the theatre, you couldn't talk to your neighbor. All the awesome music was played really load, and just made the experience awesome. Probably my favorite 'in-theatre' experience.
Anne
Hmm any Muppet movie although my particular favorite is The Great Muppet Caper. The scene where Miss Piggy is strutting on Lady Holiday's desk, talking to her self and then plopping into the wastepaper basket kills me every time... also the scene where she rides a motorcycle through a stained glass window is pretty awesome. I also have a weakness for any Bill Murray movie, with my current favorites being Lost in Translation and The Life Aquatic.
Warlady
Bagdad Cafe was a great movie! Very quirky and offbeat, but fun. My particular guilty pleasures are old Sinbad movies and cheesy kung-fu flicks. I also have a fondness for Italian sword-and-sandals epics - our local Philly UHF stations used to play them on Saturdays when I was growing up. EntilZha
Most of the output of one Edward D. Wood, Jr., particularly Plan 9 from Outer Space, Night of the Ghouls, and Bride of the Monster Dark Star: Like Spike said about Buckaroo Banzai, you either get it or you don't 2010: The Year We Make Contact (I wish they had followed the novel more closely though) Hangar 18: A silly movie, but Darren McGavin gives a good performance Bad Taste: Peter Jackson's first movie--whatever you do, don't eat dinner while watching it. Or breakfast. Or lunch. Or eat snacks. Trust me on this. Mission to Mars The Hunt for Red October Hawk the Slayer--my girlfriend introduced me to this one, and I really enjoyed it Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and Elvira's Haunted Hills Queen of Outer Space (starring Zsa Zsa Gabor!!) Transylvania 6-5000 - goofy but always makes me guffaw The Craft - A guilty pleasure, I happen to like sexy witches Plus a plethora of bad, old sci-fi and horror films, such as: Angry Red Planet Journey to the Seventh Planet Reptilicus Cat Women on the Moon Devil Girl from Mars The Vampire Lovers Planet of the Vampires Robot Monster Rocketship X-M The Snow Creature The Werewolf vs. The Vampire Woman The Wrestling Women vs. The Aztec Mummy Doctor of Doom (also featuring the aforementioned Wrestling Women) Horror of the Blood Monsters Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet Blacula The Beast Must Die The Crawling Eye
