bikerdrew
I pushed myself on this one. I really tried for smoother shading and better looking gems and crystal. I painted the crystal on the staff 5 times before I settled on this version.
Jabberwocky
I pushed myself on this one. I really tried for smoother shading and better looking gems and crystal. I painted the crystal on the staff 5 times before I settled on this version. It shows, BD! The gem looks great and the robes are very well done. Sweet job on the freehand as well. Don Rodolfo Graziani
Very cool and the gems look great. I still can't do a decent gem. Keep up the good work. DRG
Sergeant_Crunch
Nice work, a lot more contrast than what I've seen on your other minis. Good stuff!
bikerdrew
Cheers for the comments. The gem took me ages to paint - the final version was the 5th attempt.
Beowulfthehunter
Great work on the Gem, that really sets the figure off. Interesting color choice.
JimL
Nice job, the gem looks really good. I like the color selection and the way ot connects to the base. Feels like fall!
fieldarchy
what is your photo set up like? These photos have a really milky look to them.
Whizard Hlavaz
Oh, quite attractive. I like this color scheme quite a bit. Surprising in choice, but it works very well. Nice work.
demonelf3
Bravo. The warm colorscheme is very nice, and the blends are very good. The gems really look convincing, and you have improved so much. I think my critique would be on the photos, as Meg said, but otherwise keep doing what you're doing. Mr.Wizard
Oh, man. This mini is 'off the chain'. The gem is rockin' and I dig the writing on the scroll. Did you use a wet-blending technique on the gem?
King Tiger
Happy to say your time consuming efforts have paid off, very nice work!
Kormydigar
OK. You have kept us waiting long enough. Give us the gem step by step please.
King Tiger
what is your photo set up like? These photos have a really milky look to them. Perhaps slightly out of focus? Least that's what it kinda looks like to me.
