Castlebuilder
I was at the Ultimate Man's Store today (Menards). I took a sweep through the Christmas section looking for some cheap reindeer and a sleigh for the Trouble in Chrismastown scenario I'm working on. I struck out there, but I did find another good dea. They had 18" x 36" rubber matting embosed with cobblestone and brick patterns. They weren't the fanciest ones I've ever seen, but for only $10 each, I thought it was a pretty good deal. haldir
no Menard's here but that sounds interesting. I may have to look in the Christmas displays when they start to come out around here.
Spike
You mean to tell me there are still places in the world that don't have their Christmas stuff displayed yet? Who are those mats made by, CB? Maybe they can be bought online?
dewen
No Menards around here. I have looked at similar products by another company (Lemax) and they were about $20 for the same size.
GreyHorde
I picked up the Lemax brick mat a couple of years ago at Garden Ridge. Day after Christmas, 75% off.
Nomadik
I picked up the Lemax brick mat a couple of years ago at Garden Ridge. Day after Christmas, 75% off. Lemax is great for cannibalizing pieces from. They make some nice tombstones and gargoyles for their SpookyTown series, which is marked down for clearance at the Michael's Arts & Crafts stores, and the Christmas town stuff is always on sale. I just checked, The mats are indeed from Lemax. Now I just need to find some cheap reindeer and Santas sleigh for my Christmastown scenario.
