King Tiger
Oh and Sarge you can tell us the truth... You WERE practicing for that "Air Guitar" championship and things got a little outta control didn't they?
Helltown
Yeep! Sorry to hear about your accident, hopefully the Army gave you a little sterner stuff than the 800mg Motrin the Navy pharmacy doles out like Trick-or-treat candy. Heh... I don't envy you the paperwork though, clumsiness tends to leave a lasting impression on anyone reading your medical jacket. My new doctor still finds my med record hilarious after a year of being my physician. Stern commands to refrain from playing musical chairs end each visit. Sergeant_Crunch
They gave me liquid motrin (wired jaw and all) as well as seven other meds for various effects. Unfortunately the pain med tastes like crap, soju tastes better and I'm not a fan of that stuff.
billr
Wow. Get well soon! One of the milestones for getting old is when you realize that you can hurt yourself by falling. I snapped a tendon in my ankle a while ago, and that was when it hit me.

Flit
Oh no!! Hope you have a speedy recovery and don't starve on a liquid diet! Just rember- chocolate milkshakes count as liquid and have calcium & protien so they count as good for you too. :)

I guess there aren't many nerves in tendons, because it didn't hurt much. The 8 weeks of no weight bearing after the surgery was a pain though.
