Anyone else excited about the western minis?

I'll note that they're 25-28mm figures, so they won't fit very well with Reaper's scale.

Black Scorpion Miniatures is actually a perfect fit with Reaper's minis, I was pretty thrilled about this when I received my package of Black Scorpion miniatures and lined them up with Reaper.

Aces & Eights by Kenzer Co. is a great western RPG with lots of background, a very cool sample setting and rules that are built as a modular system allowing you to have as much depth in your game as you'd like. I personally go for the in depth approach to my games because the rules let you handle a lot of different situations like barroom brawls, chases on horseback, prospecting, cattle driving and gambling. These each have their own unique rules that function like a mini game within the context of the core rules. The shot clock overlays for combat are a very cool and innovative way to resolve ranged combats.

If you like westerns you should give Aces & Eights a try.

The Chronoscope western figs are great for Deadlands and I use them for such purpose. The whole line has helped in many games I run, besides Deadlands many work great for MechWarrior characters as well. I really enjoy the whole line and want to see more.

Mechwarrior and Deadlands? That’s a problematic isn’t? I played both, one a relative hard core SF, with giant robots and a Western fantasy-horror? How do invasion this, or do you mean “Serenity.” I mean Chaps in a Western means one thing and in any SF it would mean a whole different “orientation” I would think. I’m still wonder how to use the “Kirby Space Privateer” and his chaps, are little to “bearish” for me.

I agree: Aces and Eights is quite good, if you want a good western RPG with lots of crunch and accessories.

I am, however, amazed that no one rose to the bait about the Werner Klocke maid figure...
