Heisler
Whats a good set? What level of operations? I'm kinda fond of Disposable Heroes and Coffin for Seven Brothers from Iron Ivan Games for more of a skirmish level game. And how in depth? Are you looking for beer and pretzels or simulation? After his initial post and several of us asking that same question he hasn't responded. Hence the wild divergence that has gone on in this thread. I only posted the day before yesterday I am looking for something to use with the Fox miniature 1/48 line... when it comes out. For now I'll use the RotD and Tamiya vehicles. Lars Porsenna
Well if that's what you're looking for, check out Rate of Fire by Mark Sims of Crusader Minis fame. I really like his minis, so maybe the rules are good too... Damon.
Heisler
And I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for those Fox Miniatures either, its been two years now.

Lars Porsenna
Since Fox miniatures had announced they were coming out, I was into 1/48 scale modelling, dropped out, restarted, and subsequently dropped out again. You might know something, but the lead-up time has so far been so long, I'm not holding my breath... Damon.
Heisler
My group has been playing skirmish level WWII now since they got excited about the annoucement, however, they did get tired of waiting and now are firmly entrenched with 28mm from Artizan, Crusader and others. I suspect that Fox miniatures may not sell as well now as they would have had they been released two years ago. We will wait and see though. We currently playing Arc of Fire and Disposable Heros, with a definite leaning toward Arc of Fire right now.

They are like museum quality minis like Andrea, but priced like a tabletop mini. They'll also come in resin for painters.
Heisler
I certainly hope they will, especially being the same scale as model tanks. Like a lot of things though people can be very reluctant to change especially when they already have money and time invested in miniatures. It would have helped a whole lot if he had at least posted somewhat regularly on his website though, that would have at least allowed people to track his progress and why there has been such a delay in the release. Last post on the blog looks like 2007, from what I can tell. Not very good vibes, in my book.
