Sanael
Well, here he is, finally all done. I really want to thank Jabberwocky and Demonelf3 for their help in the WIP thread for this guy, especially for their guidance on the metallics. The metals are done in the half-metallic, half-nonmetallic method Jabberwocky has described before, and I really like the results with this method. If you're interested in the WIP, it's here; the first twenty posts or so cover the metallics process. All in all, this is a fun mini; the sculpt comes in several parts which are a bit oddly divided, but once it's together it's a neat sculpt with new detail every time you pick it up. I didn't really even notice the wizard's head under that hat until I'd started basecoating. C&C are definitely welcome; lemme have it!
Jabberwocky
I really like this piece! I am glad you got some usefulness out of my rambling . I think you did a very good job with your first go 'round with the technique (and to be honest, I think the photo is letting down the job you did). The dual blend on the horns is a great touch. I think this one of my favorites of yours to date!
