nytflyr
I can think of two... well you've heard of Steak and Shake... we drove one called Dog and Shake.... hmmmm another one in our town is called the Black Pearl Mexican restaurant, whats funny about that you ask... its also translated into Spanish, and the word black was left out (probably to appease the PC crowd) EDIT: And on a related note, I don't think Ill ever get the name of this Liquor store out of my head... Dragon Snack
There was a Chinese restaurant in Penfield with a rather (unintentionally) phonetically risque name. It's gone, but the last time I drove by the sign was still up... One of my mothers friends tried to start up a hot dog stand called Frank-n-Stein (he would have sold beer as well), but apparently the name was taken. Blackthorne
People say I take things too literally. I disagree, but I did name my pet shop "Various Forms of Fauna." When that business venture failed, I opened a restaurant. I called it, "Edible Animals". -Cullan Blackthorne
Nanite
Our Chinatown has the classic: "Hung Far Low" The resturant is gone, but the sign has remained for years.
