Nameless
some non-reaper stuff this time. these are two GW beastlords I finished recently. I always wanted to paint the one with two axes, and the other one was a gift for my friend: CMON this way CMON this way and one more mini. this is Shiro, the Akita Inu dog, in 1:1 scale this is Shiro in 1:32 scale. In fact, it's Andrea Miniatures dog in 54mm Just a quick paintjob and small last-minute gift for my wife. CMON this way thanks for looking. oh , next time I will post something from Reaper
dargrin
Sweet work on the fur! I like them all but the first one the best in this lot. Make me want to repaint mine.

John Lee
Nice job on the beast lords. Where did you get the wooden base on the dog? John lee

Kang
Did you base those top 2 guys on foamcore? I'd be worried about it getting damaged, foamcore being a bit fragile and all, 'specially with such a nicely painted mini sitting on top. they look great though, and the dog turned out quite nicely also. Brushmaster
A fine batch of awesome painted miniatures .
SIGIL
Great work on the miniatures! I am not sure if you meant " Ainu " or not but if you are refering to the indigenious people of Northern Japan then " Ainu " woudl be teh proper spelling..... Not that I care, I just have an incredibly horrible habit of pointing out things liek this.... I just can't help myself.......... see I could have stopped typing this at anytime but did I? Oh NOooOOoOOoooo I just HAD to go and make myself look like a JERK in front of millions of people! I don't get a life time supply of Rice-A-Roni the San Francisco treat! I don't get a gallon of Turtle Wax Super Shine! I don't even get a lousy copy of the Jeopardy home game! I'm a complete and total LOSER!!! ...........sorry, got a bit carried away there.......Anyway, that is a beautiful Dog. I am told they make fantastic pets. Shiro is a good name. A friend of mine had one named Snookie. Apparently he hated the name because he tried to maul anyone that called him by it......
Nameless
thanks all! @John Lee - I got it from the store with different household stuff. It is actually some kind of a elegant holder for napkins. there is a hole through middle of it, and I had to fill it first @Kang - it's not a foamcore. it's a ... uhhmmm... some sort of wooden material. Sorry, don't know the english word for it. Similar to MDF boards, if you know what I mean. @Tre - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akita_Inu Akitu Inu. that's the name. nothing to do with Ainu, I guess. Do I get a free RedBox mini for being shouted at without a reason? Wyrm's Bane would be fine anyway, Japanese Akitas are fantastic pets. Friendly for all in the house, but good guard dogs. they do have to be trained and controlled though, as they are pretty independent and dominant. Kang
<relieved your beastman bases aren't going to slowly disintegrate> Ah, yes, I see it now. But it sure did look like the black-on-black foamcore I use for basing my cardstock terrain models, at first glance. I have spent WAY too much time staring at the stuff lately, is all... A friend of mine used to have an akita/husky mix, and I can confirm that these wondrous beasts definitely do have a huge amount of personality - more than a lot of people I know, in fact. Which isn't to say those people don't have any - just that Skye (the dog) had more. Kang
