Mini Killer
Well, I just completed this one last week. It only took 14 months to finish. He set in storage for almost 13 months. As the pictures show, I am rusty and needed to bite the bullet and start painting the eyes. Any C&C are most welcome.
John Lee
Yes, he needs some eyes, go ahead and give it a shot. I struggle with them, too, nothing is more fustrating than painting a mini only to be unsatisfied with how the eyes turn out. I like the white and the blue and also the boots. The silver could use a wash or two and a little highlighting. Overall a nice job. John
Ferox
Nice darklining, good colour scheme, and good job creating contrast. I like the face! The coat could benefit from brighter highlights -- not everywhere, but just on the peaks of the highlights you've already established. I think that'll bring out the contrast with the cyan trim even more.
Jabberwocky
Well, I just completed this one last week. It only took 14 months to finish. He set in storage for almost 13 months. I can top that... Nice job on this one. You did a very good job picking out the details on this guy. I'm a big fan of darklining and you did a good job here; IMHO you could tighten up the lines just a bit, though. It's a bit heavy in some spots and inconsistent in a few others but I'm nitpicking here (something you'll find I do exceedingly well ). Keep 'em coming!
