I certainly hope I'm not speaking out of turn here but I wanted to add some info on the Warlord: Savage North book progress. If I am - Gus can delete this post. ::P:

Vicky and I came on to the project in an official capacity to handle the book design earlier this year. That has expanded to providing supplemental art and writing to some of the sections as well. As of today we have rough layouts for all of the army sections and core rules section. The intro to the book will include some narrative and possibly some more background info. That section has not been designed yet. . .

. . . We all hope you will not be disappointed with our efforts.

Consistently wide gutters please?

(In the Warlord2 book some of the pages had words that were awfully close to the holes I had punched  for the plastic binding coil . . . )

Here I was hoping it was a cake faction. Cake with lots of icing. Maybe muffins as grunts. But Frost Giants are cool too...just not as yummy.

I don't know I think the Frost Giant Princess is pretty yummy

totally yummy, in fact, she's an ice cream cake

Any chance of a reprint of the 2nd Edition Core Rulebook in Hardcover?

We have talked about doing the Taltos book in hardcover, likely accompanied by a layout redesign so it looks fancy like the Savage North book does. No decisions have been made yet though.

I'd like to see how Savage North looks, and depending I'd probably upgrade.

Ideally we would someday be to a point of offering a wide range of options from B&W softcover to full color hardcover, with everything in between. Sales are not there yet. ::P:

If the Savage North hits store shelves with a $35-40 MSRP, it will have a 16 page color section with a painting guide (updated from the 1st edition of the game).
