Sanael
For a little over two hours, I'm pleased with this scurvy mate. My FLGS had a themed paint night last week, with the theme being, "PIRATES!" This was my contribution to the evening. He's got a bit of the mess about him, but it's been a long time since I've slapped paint this fast. GW washes were most helpful in this case, but all the other paint on him is MSP.
Wilwarin
Awesome job on this fig. I really like what you did with the gun :) For a speed-paint, he looks great!
bikerdrew
I like this. How fast is a speed paint?
Mini Killer
Looks great especially considering it is speed painted.
Sanael
Thanks for the kind words, guys. Thasia, the handcannon barrel is very simple: shadowed steel and a stippling of rust brown, and some very small shadows with thin blue liner; simple, but effective. The stock is a thin coat of woodstain brown with a thin wash of Devlan Mud. Glad you like it. Drew, this particular speed paint was one session of apx. two hours at my FLGS, plus another 25-30 minutes at home. The second session was for eyes, the feather, and the base. Prep and prime are not included in this time.
