thedespot29
I'm working on a large 6mm grav force from GZG. I settled on using some of the non-N scale CAV fliers for air support. I really could have spent more time on the canopies, but to be honest, I am sick of the project and am at the point where I want it finished. I'm literally over 100 tanks deep and like 30 infantry stands, so I basically never want to see this color scheme or camo ever again. Anyone else ever overbuy? Some kikyus: And lynxes which came out a bit better:
Sergeant_Crunch
Nice work. How much do you have left after these? I know the feeling. I bought the bulk of my Rach force in one fell swoop. Then I decided they needed to be painted red. Didn't want to see red paint for quite a while after I finished that force.
Don Rodolfo Graziani
Very nice. I like the look for the Cammo. I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Getting tired of a color scheme. Never happened to me. Nope. No way. Never mention Afrika Korps. Ever. I do really like how your cammo came out. Very nice. DRG
joshuaslater
Great work, and props for the multi-tasking of using them for another scale game and CAV use too. I'm painting some 15mm Khurasan infantry "Felids" lion-men for my CAV Rach force. I also painted some Heavy Gear fleet scale frames as heavy infantry for my Templar force. Goes to show some crossover in this shared hobby of ours is gonna happen regardless.
Nanite
Nice job on the darklining for the lynx! Those guys are smaller then they look.
bikerdrew
Yeah - I know the feeling. I painted a whole 1500 point Tau army a couple of years ago and it became a nightmare from a Flan O'Brian book to finish it. These look good, though. When the whole thing is done you will have a great looking army that you can be proud of.
Chrome
Looks great to me! Are those plastic flight stands they're on? Don't the Lynxes get a little top heavy?
thedespot29
Thanks for the comments everyone! @Chrome They are plastic stands, and surprisingly, the lynx are pretty stable. I actually connected them all with tiny magnets, and will say, the lynx are just a tad too heavy for such a small magnet, but they got the job done. I'm just forever dropping things on flight stands and I hate when the little tabs break off.
Chrome
I agree about how annoying flight stands can be. I love the newer ones Reaper has for the n-scale flyers, but they take up so much room.
