dks
Hey, Derek, would you consider making a blending Tutorial / WIP sometime? I am such an admirer of your style. I would love to get some better insight into your technique. Aaron (Olliekickflip) posted a blending tutorial a while back that provided a huge boost to my personal painting skill, and I'm sure helped out others as well. I can only imagine what you could offer us! I'll add my vote to that. Especially how you get such bright colors and pastels (?). I can't even imagine how that palette works. Thanks for the request. I'll see what I can do. Lyn watched me paint for an hour or so when I was at Reaper HQ in October, so she'll probably agree when I tell you that my technique is pretty nonlinear. It would read like "Step 27b: while highlighting the hilt of the sword, decide to add more highlights to the skin (Step 4) and hair (Step 8) and boots (Step 15). Step 27c: Seeing how similar the hilt of the sword is to the boots, glaze the boots with a darker and redder brown." I've spent only about an hour so far painting my halfling paladin on the baby gold dragon, so maybe I'll photograph it as-is and then start taking hour-by-hour WIPs. Sanael
I would totally dig on that, too. Non-lineareality (is that a word?) and all!

rgtriplec
You really make the best little people, as far as haflings and gnomes go you are easily my favorite.
evergrin
She is the prettiest gnome I've ever seen. I love her hairdo and her pink tabard. : ) Also, she is a very neat and stylish bard. Her shield look great with the matching boots. Thank you for posting such beautiful work.
