And I fell off the wagon again...

... Then set it on fire...

... And pushed it off a cliff:

So:

Two Kingdoms of Mongo from Flash Gordon Universe: Frigia and Mingo City, That's 9 minis total. (seriously, check these out, so awesome: http://www.hangar18f..._gordon_42.html ) Nine minis total.

Then I had to supplant those with a selection of four War ROckets from Hydra Miniatures, and the Cosmic Stranger for good measure. Five there.

Reaper released so many awesome minis I couldn't hold off. So add the new Galactic Marine, another flamethrower privateer, the three blood reef minis, and the visbaroness for Six.

A two impulse buy packs from GW finish the count at: 22

So 72 for the year. I think I can hold there.

I'd like to go on the record here, and start that the acquisition of a mere 22 figs at once, or even 72 for the year, hardly rates describing it as "pushing the wagon off a cliff and lighting it on fire." YMMV, but I call a day like that "Friday". :poke:

But when you're as broke as I am, it's fairly huge.

It's also up another three...  I found Rumscratch, and "needed" some other packs to complete projects I've got going.

I hear ya. I've been selling terrain (and the odd OOP game or fig) for some time to pay for my miniatures habit. I'd hate to think of how much I would be spending if not for someplace like Bartertown or TMP.

I dumped off a few kits, and added a set of shifting stones, a wold guardian, a stoneward and some woldstalkers. Trying to get rid of some more stuff right now (as I clean out the basement), might wind up with another 20-odd PP figs (mostly Skorne, but a couple Khador).

All of the children of the zodiac, platypod, my banshee, my elf cleric, two for my friends' characters, pillar of good, an elf wizard, a climbing rogue, mushroom, kobold, bard, human mage, elf ranger with panther. And that's since I started painting again in summer.

Then I bought all my new paints... and brushes.

Going to run myself down to no grocery money eventually it seems, lol.

Edit: Also two goblins and a female human caster.

I haven't been buying so many miniatures as I have so many already. But I bought some earlier this year, a couple more Reapers when I went to London this week, and I also treated myself as it was my 40th birthday recently. I bought myself a Kara Black from Studio McVey (very nice, but very pricey) and a Lady Grigoryan from Eolith (ditto).

Just got the Neca Lord of the Rings (16" wide wingspan) Pewter Amalgama Balrog. #330/2000

Will probably switch the figure to a round base. Could fit on a 5", really ought to have 6" for support

Towers over the FotR:Special edition book ends, and makes the reaper pit fiend look like a familiar. Sadly it has a bit of soldering issues large gift pewter figs sometimes have.

Found a link that supposedly has more for sale, but BAYOR...
