Seeing Taryn charge the spider, Brag does the same but to spider I5 (or 15)!!

"GRRRRRRRR back to the shadows with ye, vermin!" he shouts as he swings his trusty battleaxe!

1d20+1

13+1 = 14

Chu will attack the skeleton marked 's4'. Only rolled a 6 on a d20 though...

He'll keep attacking until both skels are dead.

He's vowed to memorize some spells for the next day (if he lives that long)

{OOC @ Jay..Skeleton 4 already has been killed. The grey dots just mark the corpses so you guys can loot, make use of or reanimate yourselves later on}

Taryn

You swing.. /heybattabatta/ ..aaaaaaand you miss. You've not made a friend of this spider either.

Brag

You're getting pretty good at this. Your axe slices right through the spider as it tries to climb along the wall. More icky venom pools up on the floor around the dissected spider.

{OOC @ the other PCs

I'll give you guys another day to chime in before posting the spiders' actions.}

Kane looks at the pooling venom on the floor and ponders its uses for a moment... green dye perhaps? Whilst pondering his latest fashion ideas for dead spider venom he decides to hold his position just behind the spider filleting dwarf.

Shayla will try & move up to the main pack of people.

Seeing the death of the spider reinvigorates Brag as he awaits the rest of the spiders to attack.

As everyone else moves into position to position to deal with the spiders, the wily critters take advantage of their ability to move along ceilings and walls.

While one spider continues to attack Taryn, another skitters across the ceiling right over Brag's head and leaps down at Kane. The third surviving spider darts toward Ivan and Shayla, jumping from the top of the wall down onto the floor.

Taryn

You've been bitten. There's a chance you are poisoned. It's hard to tell as sometimes these things are slower to take effect.

Kane

The nasty little bugger drops right down on your back and bites you. There's a chance you also are poisoned.

The third spider tries to make a biting attack at Ivan, but the bold hireling dodges the attack as the spider scurries amidst he and those around him.

{OOC to all those who might be poisoned - You can roll your own Save-versus-poison if you'd like, or I could roll for you. It's up to you, but my d20 is being really generous with high numbers tonight.}

Oh... the map.

New round - What's everyone doing this time?

Brag moves to help Taryn fight off the spider, hoping his high resistance to the spider venom will help fend off any bites/poison.

1d20+1

12+1 = 13

1d8+1

7+1 = 8

Shayla lets lose a couple of arrows at 12.

(I'm not sure what her bonus/minus is if any + shooting into melee is)

1d20+0

12+0 = 12

1d20+0

15+0 = 15

1d6+0

2+0 = 2

1d6+0

4+0 = 4

(man why couldn't Rufus have rolls like during Steve's RCON game, ha ha)

Brag Spiderslayer

You step up to aid Taryn, smiting the nasty beastie with that killer axe of yours. It is now dead..quite dead. Your axe goes through it like butter and clangs resoundingly into the stone wall behind poor Taryn's head.

Kane thrashes about wildly

Ahhh! Get it off! Get it off! It bit me! Ahhh!

Kane manages to slash out at the spider amidst his flailing and screaming.

Attack roll: (OUCH!)

1d20+0

2+0 = 2

Poison Save: (OUCH?)

1d20+0

Kane

Your attack missed. Could be bad luck, or could be the poison. You begin to suspect something is wrong though because it is becoming harder to move. You can still breathe and speak and even blink your eyes, but your feet and legs and arms and fingers refuse to do anything. It seems you're paralyzed.

Could be worse..but could be better. From what you've probably heard, these things wear off eventually. (in your case, about 2 & 1/2 hours)

"Gah!" Taryn cries out at the spider's bite. [save vs. poison d20=19]

If mobile, Taryn turns and tries to help Kane, careful not to accidentally sever anything too important of Kane's [attack roll d20+1=12; damage 1d8+2=8]

Taryn

You definitely felt a bite, but so far aren't feeling any signs of poisoning. It would appear you got lucky this time. You make your attack with amazing precise skill, sweeping the spider off of Kane's back with your sword and dashing it against a nearby wall for the kill.

(Oops..forgot poor Shayla)

The archer lass chances a shot at the spider that is running around on the floor amidst she and the others at the corner of the hall. Though there are lots of her own friends in harm's way, she carefully times her attack and wounds the spider.

chu moves up to the corner of the hall and tries to shoot the nearest spider with his bow. He'll work his way forward if he vanquishes a spider. Rolled an 8
